..trial and error is not a good way to learn anything. If anything, it can be discouraging.
there are some hearts in jars and a DAZ brain
A pinball table construction kit, with decal templates. Pachinko and Japanese prize games. We got something close to Old West American Pachinko (albeit no pins) with the vintage slot machine (which I really, really like). I would love to see a UFO Catcher, UFO Colon, Sweet Land, and even the non-prize table-flipping game. I would love to see a high-quality mall from their heyday (I do like the Suburban Mall, but it took a bit of adjusting to get it to render well in Iray [worth the effort, though]). I would love to see an arcade with a display case with buckets of prizes, or a wall. I would love to see more arcade games.
I would also really love a toy store, a book store, and a music store. We have an ice cream shop that can be adapted to a mall, so maybe a pretzel stand/shop, sit down A&W type restaurant, and finally... (and this could actually just use elements from most of the other stores): a general "Everything's A Dollar" store.
My "happy" dreams (or my "I am super stressed and need a break" dreams) mostly involve exploring schools, arcades, shops, and malls that I haven't been to in real life (sometimes the school is based on my high school, but not always and usually not with the real staff).
I would also like to see more procedural modeling tools in DAZ Studio. The source is out there for seashells and plants, and superquadrics, lots of things that would be nice to be able to generate within DAZ Studio. For now I just use Amiga or DOS programs since none have made the leap to Windows so far.
The brain is all right (it's been waiting in my wishlist for the next good sale, plus gore shaders for Iray), but the problem with pre-jarred organs is that they usually seem meant to stay there. I really look for things that are flexible, since with a separate prop I can use it in a variety of ways. In a jar, on an altar or table, in a hand, being flung through the air in the very worst sort of bar fight, etc.
Although, if there's a product where it's just kinda parented into a separate jar prop that I can pop it out of, point me to it and I'll definitely have a look! I really need a whole variety of bits and pieces and would definitely pay for a set of prop organs, but at this point I've sort of resigned myself to picking up what I can find.
the was a bloody heart I have in my library but it's gone
Unfortunately it's not in mine. :(
I keep looking around the spooky time of year and hoping that something will crop up. We've got such a pretty pipe organ, just not the kind I need!
sometimes it does work... Changing a surface, see it doesnt work and change it on a other parameter, thats how you redesign stuff ;)
hide feet+toes then they does fit :D
Such as?
Full up-to-date military dress uniforms for both men and women complete with hats, epaulettes, medals for Army, Navy and Marines.
Just an example
A character called "Virgil".
To be honest, I'm just obsessed with the name. ^^'
EDIT: Oh! Remember Toon Cam and Sketch Cam? They were released a few Christmases ago. I would love to have seen more of that type of product (cameras with different effects).
I would love to see more non-US style uniforms. Preferably from the late 19th to early 20th century (up to WWI). British, French, Russian, Prussian, Austro-Hungarian, and Japanese styles for Genesis 8 Male (and Female too!) would be awesome.
maybe they can add Nvidia Ansell
of course only works if you have a Nvidia card
any update on that? curious
+1 and with ALL the DazStudio features, with images, in PDF, is not an option is a must!! is a shame we need to rely on youtube daz users for obtaining more info than the documentation itself!
Check out the first few links from this search: https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cybernetic ArcTek and ArcWar cybernetic arms, legs and heads
and https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cyborg many cyborg parts can be loaded individually (or loaded as a whole character then geografts/props removed)
Foo dogs.
Enforced content file naming conventions.
A way to filter content beyond searching product names.
+1 for a manual. Not a set of tutorials, not YouTube videos, but a proper manual.
...such as more resoruce content? Hear hear.
...but when it reaches the point of diminishing returns, then it becomes more of an exercise in frustration and "why bother".
I should expand on this. The User Guide .pdf Daz has provided is for Daz Studio 4.6, so it's quite out-of-date--It's pre-IRAY, pre-dForce. It has absolutely no index. It's probably only one-half or one-third the length needed to adequately explain the various features of Daz Studio.
I would gladly take even an incomplete new pdf tutorial.
Gungan (Jar Jar Binks) for G8M... maybe some Ewoks, although I can get close enough with Teddy and other morphs these days.
Centaur pants.
Yeah... Don't have the patience to watch a boring movie to find a solution/explanation to something specific.
+ real fire, smoke, explosions, special effects,
1. Fairy (and other) kai fashion
2. Poofy skirt outfits where the skirt and top are seperates
3. Cute stylized aliens
This so much! There's so much good Star "Battles" stuff and a Gungan would complete it
Nothing has ever been improved by the addition of Gungans.
