What do you check every day, hoping to see, but never have yet?

    I don't expect it but:

    A realistic Chihuahua

    Alien Pets

    Males with attached gens

Hair which can be used for different styles, from short,  wet, to growing longer, to ponytail- all essentially the same hair, but with morphs for everyday.

    Male skimpwear

Maybe a complete set of clothing from an era. We mostly see a bit here and there... never complete.

Not going to happen; the other Utah based 3D content site's male base figure doesn't have them at all when you get him. Mot saying it can't be done, just won't be either of theses stores that do it.

Can be done. Will someone actually do it? Maybe.

Didn't Michael 1-2 have attached gens as well as the original Poser guy; to think that people complain about autofitting now and don't remember the problems those gens caused! The skimpwear can be found at another site... full of images that can be a bit disturbing.  Alien pets?  You will have to show me pictures; I like to think that keeping pets is one of those things that no other species has to do....

....an eccentric English Country Manor useable for both interior and exterior scenes (maybe set up like the old Dream Home).

....a real 9' concert grand piano with interior details and accurate rigged keybaord (LIke Ness' Harpsichord)

...a big gothic/baroque pipe organ (for all those cathedral models we have) that has an accurate keydesk, pedalboard, and stop jambs.

Complete sets that include more than just the "cool" stuff:
Rifles with slings, ammo pouches, extra magazines, for example.

Everyday motorcycles, not unworkable or uber-futuristic dreambikes.

    Sedans.

I do believe that the Hivewire House cat will be coming here, although I don't think there's is a bundle as such, and not at the moment, as many breeeds availble as the millenium cat it still a wonderful model and hopefully will get some more support.

I don't 'check every day, hoping to see any' but I've often wondered if there's a reason why we never see any reasonably realistic models of money on here, since human beings seem to be motivated by it at least as much as by sex, which is absolutely everywhere in Daz Studio. Maybe 'they' think access to 3D models of cash is going to turn us all into a bunch of wanna-be forgers or something, I don't know. There must be a reason why DS youngsters have to get their pocket money paid out in fantasy coinage by mothers with their breasts thrust forward and their hips tilted provocatively to one side, or why DS bank robbers flex their muscles and adopt moody, vacant stares to risk everything for blocky primitives with Shutterstock images of dollar bills showing on two sides. No idea :)

Little houses,   like as in normal sized houses for those of us who live on this side of the pond and don't live in large sprawling type houses. The only rea;;y normal house in the store is in the Northern Terrace.

Alessandro Mastronardi promised a red panda a while back but there's no sign of it yet.  I think he's too busy with his rodents. This is a pity as red pandas are incredibly cute and I think it would sell well. (Also, there is no record of a red panda ever eating an amateur wildlife photographer and I consider this to be one of their most endearing characteristics.)

    Cheers,

    Alex.

An italien or south french medeteranian villa with interiors. Real life or *.duf mesh. I'd take both at an average DS content prize. ;-)

There is this one, which is reasonably common for the UK housing stock. It's a semi, so perhaps more of a middle class home

also, there are these, which are not too big:

The PA "2nd world" has a couple of those over at Rendo (including interiors). Naturally the OP asked what we wanted to see for sale here, and I am not aware of any available here.

I dunno that was before my time. But you can't even leave th gens attached and hidden or clothing deforms around them. I'm sure modeling around gens is inconvenient but  there are a billion female breast morphs and yet the breasts remain attached to the female figure body despite the hassle of modeling clothing around them. Perhaps when clothing is worn they could morph into a bulge

There was once an alien expansion for mil dog but it was pulled from the store.

As far as male skimpwear goes daz store sells it for the women it seems strange to be prudish about selling dude skimpwear  it doesn't need to be hardcore but a bit of parity would be nice. More sexy underwear would be welcome.

Clearly I'm way out of the mainstream, but I'd like to see LESS of the following, and more real world stuff:

    • Monsters
    • Dragons
    • Fairies
    • Sorcery
    • Zombies
    • Aliens
    • Centaurs
    • Middle Ages knights and sword fighters with axes and stuff. Oh, and Princess Leia outfits for the women.

Seems like every time you check the store it's just more of the above. Lots of people with swords for some reason. smiley

It took me a long time to find just a simple house, and what I found was only a few that didn't match what I needed. So I made my own.

My apologies, I know they're very popular for some reason, I guess I'm living in another universe. smiley

3D waves (useable in 3DL), both in the ocean and including a beach.  Not just ordinary ones... photorealistic-super-duper-ultra-high-def-orbital-stealth-ninja quality, useable whether viewed from a distance or zoomed right down to where the water hits the sand.   A very tall order, and a great challenge for anybody who wishes to prove themselves a master modeler.  :-)

Yeah, the waves/fluid sims are tough. Though you can a surprising amount of that in Blender:

Vehicles with the steering wheel on the 'Right' side, or at least with switchable/swapable geometry, I kow we have a few, and I also know about the -100% scaling trick but then there is all the texture rework to correct the text.

On the UK housing front we also have the Build s Street set

I second the waves breaking on the shore.

Yes I suppose there are a few around, I can actually use the set by David and Forbidden whispers, and a couple of the Maclean sets, But it still not a lot compared to all the big houses.

And yes British cars would be nice as well.

I have been wanting this for so long. ...Dynamic waves lapping against the shore.. but I've been told fluid simulation is messy and complicated. One can dream.

I hope to do alien pets at some point.

I have some ideas on 'alien' morphs for the Millennium Dog but I need better tools first (if I can get my art income up off the ground I hope to get Mudbox)

Fluids used to be a LOT more difficult, but lately they've become relatively easy. If you look at the first 15 minutes of this simple tutorial on Blender's fluid sim you can see that to get a basic water object which you can bring in to D|S, or at least composite into a D|S render, is not that complicated. Although as I recall it's a huge poly count, not sure how D|S will respond.

the Flex demo illustrates what that could do

I've thought about it, but most of the functionality is DirectX only, if I remember correctly.

A male matching Star's aesthetic (but not just a morph-port).

A single large comprehensive jewelry bundle (with morphs).

A florist's shop with a few morphable blossoms to make your own arrangements.

    Modern farmer's market kit.
