Yeah, Krissy, get those textures fixed -- we don't accept ANY OLD ROLLIN' PINS around here, ya know!

Funny, though, my mother once ended up with a rolling pin made of a marble-like stone, same shape as usual but just one big carved (or lathed) rock, and that texture of yours isn't too far off the mark.
Granite rolling pins are very popular amongst a certain set... No promises, but I suspect something in HoboBo's rock texture collection would probably work here.

(My mother has a plastic rolling pin, which is almost old enough to be Bakelite... There's a texture I've never seen available anywhere.)
Of course every other rolling pin I've ever seen just had very plain, light brown wood. How hard could that be? :cheese:

Don't make Krissy hit you with the rolling pin... :cheese:

And on the rolling pin thing, I can remember my Mum having one that was Pyrex glass and you could unscrew one handle and fill it with cold water. Very good for rolling out pastry as the colder you keep the pastry till it's cooked the lighter in texture it is.

    OUCH!!!

    She already did!

Unless that was Chohole comin' at me from behind for that Pope picture.

Krissy, the pin looks terrific, really. Thank you very much. Ganthor or I will make some arrangement with you ASAP.

Rob, I think you're right about the granite. I was a heavy beast, whatever it was. Cookie dough didn't stand a chance.

    ENTRY #5

TRAMP GRAPHICS--A beauty! And Tommie is too! Love the point of view, some nice texturing going on there, and the light set-up is terrific!

Bit of a visibility stretch with the Cross My Heart pendant, but I'm guessing that's the chain you can see at the back of Tommie's head.

You have one Renderosity link I'm not allowed to check, but it's okay, because if any other heathens out there who have been shunned by the Rendrous One want to get PIX THE LAMP, go straight to the source -- Mapps Poser Downloads -- and specifically this page:
    http://www.freewebs.com/mapps/downloads4.htm

    ENTRY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC-CEPTED!

Ah.. cannot belive that I have to ask about rules, but there is goes :
"3. Base figures (V4/M4?K4,V3/M3 and Genesis) don’t count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed." Does that include Aiko and Stephanie? And I especially ask about Steph ;)

Who knows? RuleBoy ain't lookin'. You want to use A3 or S3, Krissy, you go right ahead! Best make sure there are still 8 actual freebies in the picture, though.

    Looking forward to it!

I think you can still get Aiko3 for free. Oh, if only somebody had put together a list of Aiko 3 freebies, the link to the free download would probably be at the very top of the list... :)

arr I have s4.. she was free , but not anymore, and do not think there is a lot of characters that use her. sadly she is not as popular as A4 and it is a shame

We'll get Robkelk working on a freebie links list for S4 as soon as he's finished the one for A3.

Rule 3# 3. Base figures (V4, K4, Genesis and M4) don’t count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed.
Rule 6~ 6. Morphs will count toward a purchased item.

Technically A4, G4 and S4 are morph packs for V4

Well of COURSE he has air -- we're not monsters!

He insists he doesn't need food, though. Apparently his species, the Kelks, feed on lists. There are swarms of Kelks working on the A3 freebie list, but, as you say, it will take quite a long time to finish, possibly not within our lifetimes. Human time is meaningless to them, however.

Yep, but for A4 there is more than enough freebies, to have her discounted ;)

... I do not try to dispute ofcourse, and will go with the verdict :)
Only it is quite to tangled (for me at least, but I do have simple mind:) .

I do not understand the concept of eaither A4, and S4 and Hiro being base figures, but morphes ( same I do not get A5, V5 , and other 5 generations, being base figures, but morphs)

It's quite simple, really. You see, the members of the Freebie Challenge Rules Commitee, headed by Music2u4u, belong to a species that feeds on morphs, so the concept of "acceptability" evolved in what humans consider quite strange ways.

If you read more science fiction, especially about intergalactic races, you'd understand.

Cr#p.. and I'm more into fantasy lol.

Ok, will just drop S4, other wise will excend the allowed payed for limit. Seriously, I am not going after the rules, more after the concept lol...

Where the hell is my personal favourite hero, Ganthor???

Isn't it, like, 10am in New York right now? What's he going to do, lie in bed all day Sunday? I thought we'd have a mini-contest going by now!

Oops -- he said if we hadn't heard from him by Wednesday, he'd probably be dead!

Think we should take up a collection?

Speaking of adding my two cents, I thought all DAZ characters up to the 4 series (the 5's are DS only) were under the no count rule. Maybe I misinterpreted it, but that is what I got out of that rule. I usually used V4 when I render. She has a lot more free morphs for her that V3. And A4 should fall under that rule too I thought. Just my opinion out there.

I may regret it already! Is this about "DAZ free" again? Which figure counts and which doesn't is above my head, but the discussions still manage to induce headache.

Count-as-free apparently also refers to anything from the DAZ store that's free to Platinum people and anyone else who buys something else to get the DAZ-free freebies. I suppose if any of these figures Generation 1 through 5 is still "free" under those circumstances, they still count as a freebie. Hence Luci45 was quite right to include MilDog and Aiko 3 (via Anime Fighter bundle) as freebies in her entry.
