I'm lactose intolerant so can't do ice cream

It was lactoseless ice cream! (Of course, if you have milk allergy, as in, to the proteins, then it is a different story.)

    the snowcone alternative?

Yes I can't do any dairy products.

    the snowcone alternative?

Never eaten any snowcones, but this is ice cream, just lactose removed from milk. Very nom nom nom nom nom nom.

And awwww, Frank, that's awful. :( What about totes-dairy-free peach or lemon sherbet?

ONE BIG NONE COMPLAINT! ALL, yep all, DS4.6 content uninstalled, DIM 100% Clean and ready for reinstall, CMS picked over and NOTHING left even in Appdata, Registry eateries POOFED!, and Hard Drive Defragged (not really needed but done away), System Ghosted for that JUST in case reason. Think I'm as ready as I can get for a CLEAN DAZ Studio 4.6 full install only. I plan to Category each and every item of content to my method of use from this point forward and only let DS4.6 see a perfect single content folder from this day forward. Lot's to do but the end will be so worth it.

I can not believe I'm this happy when I have so much work ahead of me before I can get back to my projects.

Go forth and conquer, brave DAZzer! Return with your CMS.. or on it! (ahhh emote)

You're a braver man than I am.. I'm sick n tired of fighting content bloat.. feh. (feh emote)

Complaints: HOT, going to hit 94f today. Sun is too durn bright. Slept until 10:30AM. No initiative, no motivation, no enthusiasm Meh. Still no dang emotes, what the heck?!?!?

Non-complaints: BBQ Brisket! Mesquite smoked chicken! Fresh local pork sausage and coffee for brekkie! A fridge FULL of beer and little to no self-control! Mixed nuts, lots of cashews and pecans, no peanuts! Nothing needs doing today at all! (lazy loach emote)

I'm sick of this teeny display, I'm going to buy a cheap 21in monitor and a keyboard and set it up here.. since my next move will probably be local, I'll just keep the monitor box and take it with me. Darn things are cheap enough I could give it away and buy new at the other end of my move. I still want my 17in quad core i7 box, but I need more screen real estate if I want to make a go of Project Argentum Noctis. (evil grin emote)

Hooray exercise! Although my legs are tired, everything ELSE is happy with me walking more.. I can't wait to get back to hiking and Nature photography!! But owwww my hamstrings owwww! (ouchie emote)

Today is play with shaders day. I learned a LOT watching DS 4 tutes on YouTube, now it's time to dink about with materials and lighting.

    Nap later.. (red of scale)

I hope everyone is having a great day! (cool grin)

Gonna be a nice comfortable 78F today. The only bummer is we are having rain here and there.

78f is a wonderful temp! That's right about perfect for hiking the lakeside trail here, here's trees and a breeze so you want it a touch warm.

Sigh.. 2-3 more weeks and I'll risk a 45min hike..

78F is perfect to most things. Not to hot not to cold but very comfy. You can open up all the doors and windows and get a nice breeze circulation through the house.

Having to substitute emote descriptions for missing emoticons is somewhat like a written version of mime. (grumpy face walks against wind and pulls on invisible rope while trapped in invisible box)

Yep, still going - change of personnel, but the spirit remains the same ;-).

What was the first you remember of it?

    *de-lurk*

What I've been told is that he started the first Complaint thread.
ETA: He started it as a joking complaint about all of the complaining threads in the commons.

    *return to lurking*

Exactly. It just amazed me how many people (then) seemed to be unhappy about something that absolutely didn't matter. They even complained about freebies. Freebies!

So one day I just threw out a post of completely ridiculous complaints. :)

...sunny though very breezy out today. Not quite 70° yet. Almost as warm in Helsinki and it's after midnight there (hmm, haven't heard from Snowbug lately). However beginning tomorrow things will finally warm up into the 70s and even low 80s, a major improvement over what we had the last couple weeks.

Finally have most of the lost scene reconstructed. Ye, it is a fairly tricky one from the point of how the figures are posed and relate to each other and the lighting. Still have to adjust a few surfaces and lights to look right, though I love the Supershine Shaders and Topcoat effect which really works well for vehicles.

no plaint's 'cept the usual about always having to sign back in on the forums just about every day now even though I'm already loggd in at the store (using the same sign in page - haven't sen the forums one for months now).

Question, anyone know where I can find a good cigarette smoke prop (preferably a "Jepe-like" one instead of PS postwork brushes as those are a pain to convert to use with Gimp or PSP). I have an old cigarette and smoke prop I found years ago created by SnowSultan, but for some reason when I try to load one of the smoke planes, 4.6 screams at me that it can't find the geometry. The Runtime folder in the installer only included a Libraries and Textures folder

    ...

EDIT: oh, hang on, you want the _smoke_... sorry, that's TrekkieGrrrl's pack, cigarette, and crushed butt. As far as _smoke_ is concerned, sorry, I've got nothing. Isn't there a "smoke" (or fog) shader somewhere in UberWhatsit? (`.`)>...

Complaint: Got the Genesis Starter E pack done. Have all my genesis only Morph packs installed. Working on shader sets now. Thus the gripe. Why in the world are they installed to different places sometimes? I'm pretty sure all my shaders were up to date and they all were in one folder before. Bah. No matter really, once categorized they will all be right were I put them.
