Hey we're all on the same page for once. Mostly.

...'cept me because the bloody ebots decided to stage wildcat strike again (and my connectivity got flushed down the loo for several hours tonight as well).

My friend who lives in a quiet country town loses his connection (Wimax/Edge) when it rains. Doesn't rain too much, tho.

I thought it was a photograph until I read your post! Very nice work indeed. I can't say I'm not curious why you chose a lightbulb though.

    Heh thanks ^_^

Hm~ Well I guess I picked a lightbulb because I wanted something shiny and reflective, with some solid reflective surfaces (metal) and some transparent reflective (Glass) in the same object. Lightbulbs like these really give some nice results :3

    Is simple but effective ^^

Ditto for thinking it was a photo, but considering that I render the weirdest stuff (or do freebies of them)... I've stopped wondering whys, and focused on hows.

My favorite game is "Real or Render", where the goal is to guess if something is a render or real.

@Misty: Ooh ooh! I know that draggy! That's Lizzie! =D
In DQ6 you can get various slimes and stuff in your party and a single dragon - her. Slimes are all well and good, but I'd take the big axe-wielding female dinosaur anytime :3
I wonder how she got resurrected though? I don't believe they ever said anything about that in the game (I haven't finished it yet though.)

@ps1borg: Heeeh... Yeah the heat-related complaints finally caught up with me I guess. It's been hot here for a while, but it never bugged me until today when it started to interfere with my sleep D:

*Edit* Unrelated random, but Skiriki's name has been reminding me of a character named Shinki:

is a cute dress Shinki's wearing

Well that dress is definitely way girlier than anything I've ever worn in Real Life...

Bunicorns...? I'm assuming you're playing the *modern-era DQ games then XD (They're the only ones I remember that had such wacky names for creatures!)

I recognize that lil guy from Dragonwarrior 3. He was purple though D: Almirajh I think? I forget what the DQ-era games renamed them to.

*The older games IMO had better creature and spell names. Less "Play-on-words" and awful-pun names. I miss the BattleRex and Evil Pot and Mini-Drakes... Now we've got Hackasaurus, Urnexpected (Wtf?), and Komodos XD

Nope, Wooly did not pick up the dream gift baskets and they are still somewhere in my skull. I'll just chuck them with the rest of the stuff sloshing about in my subconsciousness, he'll get to pick 'em up when the "laundry day" happens...

But at least I slept. It was cool -- as in, temperature-wise! -- enough to sleep! YAY!

Sorry abut that, I got distracted and ended up in a happy dreamland with a date.. (red face)

Wow, I slept until 11:00am! Dang, I knew I was tired, but not THAT tired...!!

Installing content now whilst drinking coffee. I need to experiment with skies and glass today, and maybe volumetrics if I get all feisty.

Other than that.. lazy day! Tomorrow is laundry and tax for day (blech), I'll probably treat myself to a BURGET MADE WITH CHEESE for Sunday lunch!! (grin)

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! (cool smile)

Only in winter, after they fill the niche left behind by the brown bears hibernating.

However, sabretooths and mammoths are more dangerous, I've found out.

Your not going to get too much about Zeppelin past me, hence the name.

That was the Immigrant Song which was the first track on the third album titled Led Zeppelin III. It was an album the critics say was the worst (some say Presence was), but of course I totally disagree, Every album by Led Zeppelin was far and away above anything anyone else put out.

Okay I'll be quiet, for now.

There weren't too many Zep albums that I found "bad", some weren't as good as others, but uniformly I liked pretty much all of them.

Now I need to go get more Zep.. argh.. lol! Rendering to Led Zeppelin is fun! (evil grin

I also have music by a band called Dread Zeppelin, they do Zep covers - Reggae style - with an Elvis impersonator as a singer. Somehow.. it actually works! (shocked face)
