An unambiguously older-presenting female character. Older-presenting even than Lilith 7.
Interesting.
Seriously, that's all I got. I'm a bit puzzled as to why all but two of her promo images have the same hair and more or less the same outfit, but that's it at the moment.
Well, that, and it's kind of odd that the characters based on her seem to sprint hard and fast away from that older presentation. At the same time, the promos for the "A Lady" expressions make her look ... really old.
The shirt dress outfit is ... unexpected.

Wow, unambiguously DAZ's best female Pro Bundle since the Girl 6 Pro Bundle, I think it tops that one because of the improved modeling.
Unfortunately I was waiting for Girl 8 so I will wait although the hair & the Alexander character I will buy seperate.
Not really into the facial sculpt of Alexandra herself, but I like FWSA Edith. She reminds me of a woman I met recently at a party. I wonder what she would look like without the Alexandra morph...

Personally and simply looking at the product, I think the character is a great job. At least there is more variety of figures than another supermodel. It is very appreciated to have figures with a more natural look and that go beyond the typical and young characters in comics / manga style / supermodels. It certainly has not gone unnoticed and for now the Pro Bundle has the mark on. I know that at some point it will be part of my library, yes or yes, just like what happened with Lilith 7 and Ophelia 7.
I think they're trying hard to continue filling out the roster started with the 7 line, rather than replacing 7 models with 8 ones. Honestly at this point I'm kind of surprised we got an Olympia and a Monique/Darius with 8s.

I'm impressed with her. A mature lady character is fantastic, especially portrayed in a queenly and dignified way. The free bundles one can get are hard to pass up.
In one promo she reminded me a lot of my son's mother-in-law, and I can't unsee it in the rest now I've seen that one. Finances here leave me in no rush to buy, but I do like her and will probably pick her up when I've got some spare brass. Re the pro bundle, I've not looked at it too closely but I'm not wild about the way the white top of the wide-legged trouser outfit hangs (or rather, doesn't) in the main promo, although it might look better with a different shader.
Overall, not a bad deal. I was ready to bypass another female character because I have so many of them, but she is definitely something different and unexpected. So I bought her immediately along with the three other extra character add-ons. With that, I got three of the pro-bundles from Gen 7 that I’d previously bypassed. I may have spent a little money this morning, but I just got a ton of content. I’m a happy guy right now. Now, back to bed,
I really like the more mature look of her. But I can't really tell from the promos - is her body skin suiting the mature age look, or is it blemish free and more suited to a 20 year old? I can't see close ups of the hands specifically.
I really like her, but I don’t think any of the characters have brought out the best in her. She’s a phrase containing a profanity removed, and all of them seem like characters I’ve seen before just thrown on her.
She also really needs her HD morph and I think she’s pretty useless until then. I really want her!
Agreed. The pants look really cool, but that top looks dreadful. However if you check the texture add on, the shirt looks a lot better. But yeah, it's pretty bad in the base outfit promos.
I am really not a fan of those eyebrows. Looks like they were drawn on with the inner part way too low. Love the face sculpt though. I have a suspicion you could dial backwards whatever young female flagship figure is the closest to her and get something that could be used to mature any character.
Anyone who's got her, could you do a close up of her neck and hands? Not impressed if we FINALLY get a mature woman and she looks like a 20 year old from the neck down. Are her eyebrows separate? They're not great, but if we can use other eyebrows, that'll be ok.
I love to have mature women with a queenly and elegant look for storytelling, also enjoyed she is a pixie queen too, great pro bundle, she is like a mix of Olympia 7 and Genevieve 7 with a twist for fairy tales.
Got Anneka, Damien and male centaur pro bundles, finally. I had a lot of fantasy except these.
I would like we will see a tween fairy to complete the family of Alexandra and Karyssa. And a baby!

I was a bit surprised too, I thought we were finally getting Sakura's mate this week. But I kind of like her. Not sure if I'll buy her though.
I like the Briallen HD morph. It definately has a lot of potential.

I like her! She adds some nice realism touches and a much needed mature woman to the gene pool! :)
Once again no male character ... what's happened with DAZ? Any problems with males? What about equal rights? She's nice but to me nothing more than just an older morph of Victoria 8, which anyone could do with Zevo's Aging morphs.
Ok, time for me to go to bed. I hope others post renders of her as well! :) I'd love to sleep and wake up to some lovely renders of this elegant mature woman!

That is a great new addition. I agree with some of teh comments. Finaly another model taht isn't "supermodel" like. She looks like soneone you could actualy meet at the grocery store... It's on my wishlist for sure.

Credit where credit is due: She's probably the first real decent Genesis 8 character next to Monique 8, and probably the first since Bethany 7 that actually brings something legitimately new (for Daz Originals) to the table. The items are... okay, I guess. If it wasn't for the 'pick your own free bundle(s)' upsale, I probably wouldn't bother with the Pro Bundle, though.
But would it have killed them to have included at least non-white character for her? #DazSoWhite
There is Rosa, which is a Sicilian based character. I know that's not what people usually look for, but in essence; non-white.

If I think of Daz characters as the ensemble cast of actors, Alexandra 8 is a welcome talent to fill more roles. I bought Alexandra 8 and would buy more characters products that fill other roles. Not everyone in a production is teen eye candy, even if the production has some teen eye candy. For those that think Alexandra is just an (objectified female parent with whom people would desire adult relations) phrase containing a profanity removed, yes, she can be the lead actress. But, in an office setting she could be the boss or mentor.
