Nah, doubt it is intentional. Lipstick edges doesn't look like this.
My blemishes and freckles have decreased as I've grown older. I have a few more wrinkles but blemishes don't typically increase.
Yeah, her body seems young but if you need her to look a little older >> just add or subtract weight using morphs package. If that is not enough just fire up your favorite modeling program and add morphs yourself. What would have really sold this is a wrinkle texture and a 2nd skin liver spots. We need this for both G8 male and females.
I agree about her needing a bit more sagging options. She should be the aging base...not needing another add on to make her look older. Of course I could tweak or remorph any character. But the point of buying a mature looking model is to not have to do that. I'm just saying that an additional aged body morph and preset would be a nice inclusion. Otherwise, I like her. Good on Daz for bringing something new.
I think so. I have the same price as Greybro and we're both PAs. We get a slightly higher discount on Daz Originals.
How are you getting those prices??? I have these:
PAs get a slightly bigger discount on Daz Originals.
Oh, I posted that right after you posted...
PAs get a slightly discount? Hmmm, might be worth making a product to get that discount.![laugh laugh](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
I just noticed Briallen has stretch marks on her belly! Very cool.![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
Always an option, i dont believe in making features like that permanent :)
I just noticed something about Alexandra 8: she's the first DAZ figure I've seen with visible ribs.
Pretty much any other character, you can see the outline of the ribcage, but you can't see individual ribs, even with Thin turned up to 100%. It's an oddity of the models, considering that you don't even need to be that thin for your ribs to be visible under the skin.
The promos of Alexandra, on the other hand, suggest that she actually has discernible ribs. Interesting.

Thank you! I hoped so! I asked because the ears are on all promos. Great too hear they are an optionI bought Kylie for her HD wrinkles---once I figured out that they were included and not from Khloe as this promo image mistakenly told me.
I wondered about that. I removed her from my cart, because I thought it relied on another product I don't own. It looks like incorrect promo labels cost this artist a sale. I chose a different new release instead.
It was probably just a naming issue in which that product was probably first named "Khloe" but likely had to be renamed because of a different character by that name was released recently: https://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-khloe-hd-for-karyssa-8
So looks like they just forgot to update all the promo text with the new name.
By 'blemish free' I meant a perfectly smooth young skin, not necessarily lots of 'blemishes' turning up on her skin as she got older. An older skin - whether 35, 45, 55, 65 etc - isn't perfectly smooth and young looking normally. Blemish free was just a term I used to ask if her skin matched her perceived age. I'm with @SereneNight - I think her age looks like it stops at the neck, regarding her skin. It's wonderful to see a more mature woman in DAZ's iconic bases finally, but to me, her skin is more important. Zevo's aging morphs can do age - but the skin is important.
Yep exactly that, she was originally Khloe but we had to rename her, I didnt catch it on that promo image *shoot* Will see about getting that updated.
I wish QA would have caught it.
One thing she reminds me of is an aging super model who does yoga regularly and eats a lot of salad! I still like her.
@jakiblue Were you thinking of a character more along these lines: https://www.daz3d.com/bellatrix-for-genesis-2-female-s
I also love this one: https://www.daz3d.com/opal-for-genesis-3-female
It would be interesting to see Opal skin on Alexandra.
Another great looking character.
Well done Daz and all involved artists.
hahah Cute smile. Makes her look younger. :)
Thank you for posting the render. I hope more people post renders of her. I really like this character and would love to see what others do with her. :)
This is mostly Helena with a few more morphs thrown in (because I just can't leave the dials alone...lol).
Laurie
@Allenart and @Artini very nice renders she has a lot of life like realism more so than a lot of the others released recently I like Kylie there and there's a show been seeind ads for she looks like too if I see an ad for the show again I'll look up the actress and re-edit add to this post
wel picked up the pro bundle, added Kylie, textures for the wide leg pants and the 1st texture pack for Olympus Goddess outfit, got for free Rocker Chic Bundle, GoldieLocks Bundle and Lovable Nerds Bundle for $65.45 - $86.63 Australian pretty good deal for lot of content which actually worked out cheaper than just buying the bundle for $66 so really good deal
Well I'll just have to disagree the skin that's exposed to the sun long term can look rougher long term but I don't look at a older person's skin and see markings they would not of had in their youth except for almost exclusively sun damage.
Now if one adds sun damage to the skin then you are talking about tan lines and all sorts of person and clothing specific quirks that really isn't practical in a mass market product like this one is meant to be. Maybe DAZ 3D needs a Skin Builder for G8F and G8M that lets us build something as indiviualized as sun damage. LOL, ever compare the arm of a truck driver that he hangs out the window compared to the one he drives with?
As far as her body goes tanning hasn't been popular for a while now and I notice a lot of people that are indoor type creatures entering there 50s with very pale skin (so pale you wonder if they have spent more than 10 minutes outdoors in one day in their life) and looking like they are in their teens as far as skin smoothness goes. Age in an older person's body is reflectly mostly in a bit more sagginess because of muscle atrophy more than skin damage is reflected. One has to weight train to avoid that, seems the body atrophies muscles as we get older for some reason unrelated to the fact many of us haven't gotten any lazier in older age than we were as teens or 20s folk, LOL:
Wow, that is super! Best model DAZ has yet.
