    He looks good as a male. I thought his brows and mouth in particular are yummy. The baked in breast stretch marks are odd to me.

    I'm working on a few renders now and I have to say, really liking Alexandra.  The skin is lovely and the body is not as perfect as I thought.  In other words, like someone else stated above, she looks like an ex-supermodel who is a vegan and into yoga trying to keep up with the young girls but gravity and age are still making their marks. I'm sure if I wanted to make her less slim and less in shape I could.  Good job on this one, not bad at all

    I think if it was possible to use Singular Blues morph transfer script of Bethany 7 to G8F that would be a good average body to use with Alexandra, or any of the other G8F characters whose faces aren't too rawboned.

    I felt the need to render plain Alexandra 8 after doing Edith and Briallen.

    I think she has the best looking "Official 8" skin so far, imo (though I think Monique 8's skin comes in VERY close second). I made some tweaks to her skin settings but didn't touch any of the texture maps:

    I've only had a little time to test her, but so far I really, really like her. She has an aura of weight and gravitas that most of the other DAZ females lack... really, the only DAZ bases that project a similar level of commanding presence to me are Rune 7 and Lilith 6, and Alexandra looks like she would probably their boss.  DAZ really knocked it out of the park with this one and I'm REALLY hoping that we see a new male counterpart. :)

    I'm hoping we get and updated Leo as her partner. Ideally without the scaling issues he has.

    To me, her face says late 50's, while her body says early 40's.

    Body age really has become impossible to place in this era of training and beauty regimens and better diets. DAZ's females have always pushed the upper edge of the envelope, but here's a list of well known women who are 49 or older and in approximately the same or better body condition as Alexandra:

    Jennifer Anniston (49), Courtney Cox (53), Sandra Bullock (53), Halle Berry (51), Nicole Kidman (50), Gina Gershon (55) ... and just to really push the scale, Iman (62) and Christie Brinkley (64!).  Here's Brinkley at age 63 posing for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit edition.

    First, hurrah for older characters!  Always an immediate (or soon as possible) buy!

    BUT

    I'm having trouble with her eyebrows.  The Materials option for eyebrows simply isn't working for me.  I click on it, and the eyebrows won't appear.  Am I doing something wrong?

    Yes, they don't show until you render.

    I did another render with the Edith skin on G8M and paired him with Alexandra 8.

    I really like her. This is Alexandra, no changes except she's using Super Natural brows and the eye textures are from Helena.

    You did a nice job with that! She looks great, and you did a good job with the white Boho dress, too. I like the flower in her hair.
