She looks wonderful and her Pro Bundle is one of the best I've seen. I use a lot of older women in my renders and she'll make a great alternative to using Zev0's aging sets, so she's going to be an automatic purchase as soon as I parse out which of the free items I want... decisions, decisions...

I am more than happy with the stuff I got for the price that I got it for. I got two free bundles and a little bit of extra discount on the pro bundle plus my PC+ discount. Ain't complainin' ;) I got a whole bunch of goodies today for just over 67 bucks.

On page one, Divamakeup has posted some renders in bikinis. Both textures and morphs look aged to me. I think there was even cellulite on the legs.
To me she looks like she's got loose skin around her neck and a softer belly with a little bulge, both of which can happen to older women.
Hmm... So... I guess her niche is maturity? People did say they wanted an official "aged" character for quite some time now.
I have mostly stayed away from G8 but I am thinking about getting at least the base character, because it is a mature model. For those who have more experience with G8, how compatible is it with at least G3? I've seen posts about converting G3>G8 for clothing, so I know I would have to do that. But what about, say, textures and morphs?
The G3F textures are the base for the the G8 textures, so compatibility is 100% going from the base G3s-G8... which is just about everything made for G3 except for a few DAZ base characters. G3-G8 conversions are also usually pretty solid for clothing and hair. As for tranferring morphs... well, it can be done and there are a couple of threads with tutorials, but it's a LOT more time consuming than simply tranferring between the other Generations using GenX2.
At this point transferring from G3 to G8 is pretty straightforward if you have the right script. (I don't THINK it goes the other way though I'm not sure.) I was avoiding even trying it for months because yucky clicky clicky but I finally tried it last night and now, with a couple caveats, I find it much simpler than using GenX2. High praise for Singular Blues there.
I agree, about the clothes pretty bla. Nothing particularly oustanding about the base figure but I'm getting her because her skin looks nice
I know females of her age with a similar figure; granted I haven't seen them wearing as little, but ageing doesn't mean putting on lots of weight, so everything sags.
... And if a person has maintained their weight, kept out of the sun, and not smoked, there will be much less damage (and sagging).
Obviously, if you don't like the deal, then don't buy. Even at that seems like a decent deal to me.
I can confirm it works the other way around as well, transferring G8 to G3. @SingularBlues is a genious. Once his script hits the store, I'll be quick to snag it. I also think it's much simpler than GenX.
Age doesn’t stop at the face though. Even if you keep yourself trim. And yes there are people with wonderful genetics who look youthful but that’s easily dial able and well represented in characters in the store already. This is a character that cries out for hd morphs to emphasize small areas of age.

And even with a little weight gain in later life, if one has been fit and healthy and worked out some, then having trained muscles helps people to keep in shape.
Yeah, they should stop giving away pro bundles and just stick with the over half off discount on the initial pro bundle since that is a good deal by itself.
I swear, users are never happy. With the pro bundle, 3 featured items and 3 additional expensive free pro bundles it's like an 80-90% savings total. I am still amazed DAZ makes any money with these insane deals.

A character actress. We need those. DAZ is getting better at providing them. Very good. Another silly "warrior" outfit, but I suppose there is no getting away from those.
Q: Why does the PC+ coupon only discount $3 instead of $6 on this? Is it because of the free added content?
Sorry if its not obvious but she comes with 2 morphs, one of which does not use Alexandra.

Oh awesome, thanks! I guess I looked at that wrong and didn't pick up on that. That morph is exactly what caught my eye about her, along with the bodypaint. Kellyn is definitely going in my cart today, still on the fence about Alexandra herself though. She's a great character, just not sure I'd use her enough to justify spending the extra cash right now.
Now I have tested Alexandra 8 and I like her even more. One of the best characters, ever. And probabaly the most versatile.
If I want to make a sexy Modesty Blaise type of character. I can.
If I want to make a stern boss character. I can.
If I want to make a bun baking motherly type. I can.
Most of all. This character has...well a lot of character!
This is Alexandra 8 right of the box. The only flaw I've noticed (so far) is that the border of the lipstick on some makeups are to sharp (like in this image). I expect an update will correct that. When that is fixed, 10/10.
I can't pick Alexandra up right away and probably will only be able to afford the base even at the intro price (just started a new job), but as the title says...
