Do you guys even have anymore Drive-Ins? We only have 1 left

There was one in Austin 5 years ago when I moved here.. I think it closed.

    We still have one. http://www.bluestarlitedrivein.com/

I wonder if they still have the porn drive-in over in Pasadena TX.

A porn drive-in? Wow, honesty in advertising... :snake:

Although, really, the concept of seeing 25ft long toast isn't particularly arousing...! :ahhh:

    A porn drive-in?!? Lmao.

Reminds me of an episode of the Cleveland show, where the boss installed a hidden camera in the company car and Cleveland and his workmate got caught driving through 'stripper drive-thru' outfitted with pink spotlights and dancer poles.

    the sun came up?

Sun's been up here since 6:45am. :gulp: Woke me up, I had to enter 'burrito mode' to keep sleeping.

Is now hideously bright outside. I have zero desire and almost no motivation to go gallivanting about in the heat and humidity.

I'll get my haircut tomorrow night, on the way home. 90f at 11:45AM.. it's going to be another Central Texas scorcher! :ahhh:

But I have bacon, beer brats, sage sausage, green chili black beans, and ehough beer to float an aircraft carrier, so phooey on outdoors! :vampire:

No renders today, going to try to compose a new song - the first in 5 months! :cheese: I think a nice ambient rock/metal song. Strictly instrumental.

We'll return to ICFPL next week!

ps. Wow, this mesquite smoked peppered bacon is amazing! :bug: HOTY HOT OMG HOTTTT! :bug:

    Cawfeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I feel your pain. I need a haircut and was going to putter up to Tech Ridge to the Supercuts there, but forget it! I'd be baked fish in minutes! :bug:

Meh, font re-install. I did it the wrong way and Windows wouldn't see them.. so it's a do-ver.

Thankfully only about 1/2 hour worth of work.. sigh.

    More.. coffee.. :bug:

How did you install fonts the wrong way?

Simple - I copied the font file to the fonts directory, and Win7 ignored them. :blank:

Now I double-click the font file, font viewer comes up, I click INSTALL and poof! It shows up now. :blank:

    Simple, indeed. :blank:

Lol ah yes, I remember they changed that process, been a while since I installed any. Speaking of fonts I wonder what Daz font is. I imagine a trademarked font they created or got created. The font they use for "genesis" and "genesis 2" is also unique (used on product imagery). I have a huge font library and not one matches it.

    WHINE TIME!

My dang laptop display barely shows 5 tracks of audio, it's hard to make edits over 8-9 tracks...! (cry cry)

I've forgotten half my mixing chops, argh, re-learning time! (cry cry)

It's too early in the day to have some beer! (cry cry cry)

    END WHINE

Having said that, a new song WIP coming in about 15 minutes!

Great poem but needs more bacon. :)After 36 strips of Bacon and six cups of coffee, the only thing I need is a good anti-acid, my cholesterol checked and nobody to be in the bathroom when the urge hits.

Did you use a bit of "softglow" in post?

    Thank you and yes. :)
I avoid postwork when possible but the "glow" filter adds a nice touch of softness to the light.
I suppose I could get a similar effect with one of the Atmospheric Cameras, but I wasn't sure how that would get on with LAMH.

    Ok, that does it.

I tried to post an answer on this forum 12 times.

And I got the "my account" page each time, even when I logged out and in.

I'm never buying another thing from Daz, like those stupid sons of sea urchins care. They can't even run a forum.

And I'm never coming back in here. This is the most idiotic bullcrap I've ever had to deal with, I don't need to deal with a bunch of loser idiot corporate gene damaged drones.

Daz is a bunch of leeches, and we feed them, Well, end of that. I'm switching back to Poser.

    EEff Daz.

...actually the atmospheric cameras don't give that more diffuse light like the Softglow filter does. There is the Vignette setting (which I am currently experimenting with) but that primarily darkens the edges and uses the fog effect to slightly soften and brighten the middle like in an old photograph.

Interesting, after cancelling a render process and running another, what was rendered of the previous image appears in the new render window at the start rather than getting a full black screen like normal.
