    Sounds like you've got it KK :).

    Some other tricks that may be useful -

    . Ctrl-* (or Right-click -> Polygon Selection -> Select all Connected) can be incredibly useful if the object hasn't been fully "welded" (ie all the surfaces join up). Case in point getting rid of the headlight cover (I notice it has two 'surfaces' there, an inner and an outer - trivial to remove so that you can get into the headlight itself). Even if it has been welded (ie you try it, and too many surfaces light up), you can select a "loop" of faces and hide just those (which I did with the rear of the light socket), then when you select one of the inner faces and use Ctrl-*, it will select only out to the (now hidden) loop, and not further;

    . I find I use Right-click -> Polygon Visibility -> Invert Hidden quite a bit too... to show me the things I _have_ already hidden, and may want to re-"hide" again, which, when inverted back again, will show them up (perhaps too much was selected, or the wrong faces);

    . if you're already building up your own "KK_gunport" surface and assigning faces to it, Right-click -> Polygon Selection -> Select -> Surfaces -> KK_gunport (or whatever), can be useful to show what you've already done (or the opposite, "... Deselect...");

    This took about five minutes (including flailing about a bit in DIM to find where it was installed - Tree View didn't refresh properly X), as I was typing this out:

    ETA: second image below shows the option for finding where things have gone - it gives you a set of hyperlinks to the files themselves, but you can usually work out where they'll appear in your Content tabs (all the stuff under 'libraries' appears in the Poser structure file-tree, and the 'characters' folder is mapped to 'Figures'...).

    ..here's the finished version. I have the guns coming out from the left and right part of the grille.

    Nice work!

    Found out the hard (And annoying) way that $game_player.x != 11 and $game_player.y != 6 does not return the same results as $game_player.x != 11 or $game_player.y != 6

    It's also a bit embarrassing since I had thought that I got the difference between 'AND' / 'OR' operators down by now ^^;
    Heh, must be a bit tired :)

    Was making one of those block switch puzzle thingies, and with the first scriptlet all was working as needed except when I step off the tile that opens the door, it stayed open until I moved to the left or right because the condition was still technically being fulfilled because I was no longer at tile 7 on the Y-Axis, but I was still at tile 11 on the X-Axis - so it still considered the conidtions true and thus kept the door open even though I wasn't on the switch anymore xD
    Changing it from AND to OR like it should have been makes things work,

    *grumbles a bit about making such a stupid oversight*

    Woops is 11PM hafta head to work D:

    ...thanks. Yeah loved all those old spy stories, shows, and films. Besides Bond, my other favourites back in the day were the original Avengers with Patrick McNee and (Dame) Diana Rigg, and of course Danger Man (Secret Agent here in the States)/The Prisoner.

    i luv how this Thomas promo is lit. how'd they do that?

    ...looks like a good dose of SSS for one.

    It also reminds me of some of the promo images I saw for Reality or Oxygen.

    there's no render badge on it, maybe render isn't DS or Poser?

    Looks to me that allot of it is the diffuse texture IMO the bulk of the shadows cast on the face appear to be in the texture not cast by the light.

    I took a closer look and you can see in the eyes at least 2 and possibly 3 white light reflections from almost straight in front of the character. I'm assuming the eye's are actually reflecting at least some of the scene lights. If so then, yeah, a lot of the shadows would be coming from the textures, lighting a human face from in front usually tends to flatten out the shadows.

    As a portrait I'd call that an overly harsh lighting setup though I can see it makes for a dramatic image. As lighting to show off the morph and the mats I think it works really well.

    haz so many light sets for poser. in the end i end up using one low value ibl and one pointlight raytrace. or 2 infinities no shadow and 1 point raytrace.

    hmm. i want his shadow to be larger than his figure, sooo, the light has to be further away? scale the light? hmm hmm hmmm. aye'z never tried it before.

    Which light casts your shadow larger on the wall, a lamp you are standing close to, or a lamp you are standing far away from? :)

    Okay then Just for tjohn.

    Complaints:
    I got the same Arthur today that I had yesterday and the day before. Hmm.. had that one for years now it seems.
    I woke up early and could not get back to sleep. So I'm here to complain about it.
    To force my New PC to ship I had to add another $250 or more to my old order.
    The extra added to the New PC forces it into yet another 48 hour test period, before shipping.

    None Complaints:
    The New PC will ship this week.
    No more Fed Ex airplanes have crashed here in weeks, so my odds are good.
    I have a reason for a nice long afternoon nap.
    The Meds are handling the Arthur today.

    watching tv. Some Panthers are playing with some seabirds.

    I can tolerate ads on tv if I can take breaks from tv. I need to look what the fall tv schedule is. I do not like watching tv just to watch it. Or just to have it running. I hope there are good stuff on tv to watch. Or I will just watch football

    I have the Mattel Agent Zero M Snapshot. It looks like a camera, but when you press the shutter release button a gun barrel and pistol grip pop out, and it used cap rolls. That fancy one was way too much money...we were poor.
