Here's an update, I've been creating primitives in Studio, sending them to Hexagon and welding them to parts I've selected out of Ptrope's elements.

How is the U.S.S. Enterprise like toilet paper? It whips around Uranus and knocks off Klingons! BA-DUM-BUM!

The version I have always heard is "Captain Kirk Toilet paper: Wipes out those Klingons orbiting Uranus"

While doing the laundry all day, I did get a break to add the final detail to the back wall and around the station walls:

    That's really looking great!

To momentarily shift gears, is your refit hangerdeck still posted anywhere? I didn't see it on the freebies list and someone was asking me about it earlier today.

This is what I have put together for the small side stations that flank the captain's chair. Do you think they look authentic to the TOS style?

Over all, it looks good. But I'm wondering about the desk top viewers. Won't they be kind of bulky for the bridge? Maybe after I see them in place, it'll feel different.

I was thinking that when they all get thrown around as the ship is attacked the viewers would be likely to end up in someone's lap.

You know all the times, we saw Engineering under attack, those viewers never budged. :-)

I need to play and find a different option for the viewer. I think it blocks sight lines too much.

You might try Sulu's targeting viewer. It was listed in the freebies.

Thanks for that suggestion. I made them basically symmetrical, but changed them up to be different.

Have you thought about a striped down version of the captains chair, maybe not on the box or thinning the controls on the sides? The desk seems too bulky and too close to the side railings. Maybe benches with bend to the shape .... Just my thoughts, looking great!!

I was thinking of half-curved benches on either side of the captain's chair, kind of a VIP area.

maybe I could incorporate a small panel at the end, like the comm units on the conference table.

The two stations that Riker and Troi had were basically just information terminals. I'd say take off the overhanging control panels, and just have the smaller side controls. Also, who's going to be in the left seat? Starships in TOS didn't have official ship's counselors, and any counseling staff would likely have been part of the medical staff

I was thinking it could be an assigned diplomatic envoy/first contact specialist.

Finally saw the last JJ Trek movie and got inspired for a render. I noticed in the list at the front of the thread not much in the way of JJ Trek items, any ship interiors out there for the new movies?

Quick render of Spock probing Kirks mind looking for interior props, LOL
    DS and Luxrender

I re-purposed the side consoles as stand-alone console where Tactical is on the TNG Enterprise.

I felt a sitting station was more in keeping with TOS.

Maybe use the high backed version of the captain's chair to differentiate it from the other two chairs.
