Ashan 8 himself looks interesting and different enough to encourage me to buy my first Pro bundle in a while. I'm very keen to see what he renders like, but unfortunately, although I can download him now, I have to work today and so can't take a proper look until later.
I'm very pleased with not just the look of the new pro bundle out today, but with the overall offers - simple discounts, simple free items and no trawling through pages and pages of items to find something that I want.
Great work Daz on the deal for this one.

Welcome back from long breaks, @ThePhilosopher and @VincentXyooj. Big ups to @sade, one of the hardest working PAs in Daztopia.
Valentino has a running mate. I like him. The purple banner was sweet too added to the incentives and pre-gift card sales. The outfits look real good. This is a nicely done bundle, minus the V4-era-looking dForce hair. Thank you, Daz, for a true high-definition HD Add-On rather than the non-HD HD Add-Ons of recent releases.

That aside, the bundle is a no brainer and imo probably the best sculpted HD male to date or at least one of the top ones. Reminds me of G3 male details. So many kudos to that individual.
Took a look at the readme for Insidious Monk, since recent history indicates that something credited only to "Daz Originals" may have a PA we've never heard of before. And, well ... definitely not the case for that outfit. It has more than 35 listed creator credits in the readme.
That said, I'm pretty sure that's an error. It seems to start with the beginning of the Daz alphabet, and doesn't even get all the way through letter A before it stops. I think someone may have pasted the entire author field of the database into that, and just run into the character/author limit.
According to the file list, it looks like Barbara Brundon is the actual creator for Daz, and she's definitely someone we've heard of before!

With the purple banner for all the other Genesis 8 Pro Bundles I own, and using the special offers, the Ashan 8 Pro Bundle, together with three Genesis 2, two Genesis 3, and one Genesis 8 Po Bundles displays at USD 22.26. That is very very nice, given that another Genesis 8 Pro Bundle is already there. The HD add-on is only USD 8.23 for me.

it's "and". I think it's misleading because you get 1 x G8 pro bundle, 2 x G3 pro bundles and 3 x G2 Pro bundles if you get the Ashan pro and three add ons.

"Choose 1 of the following for FREE" explicitly denotes a choice from a selection. (Then they listed the set from which the selection would be made). I forgot English is not Daz's first language.
Oh man, he's stunning and the deal is almost too good to pass up. I'm super nervous about pulling the trigger on this big of a discount since I last got the cart bug, though--it's almost $1k worth of stuff.
Edit: oh right it's 4am and I forgot I could just get a gift card for the amount he actually costs.
Looking at the promos for the figure https://www.daz3d.com/ashan-8 I wonder if they are using the HD add on there - I'm not getting that same definition when rendering the base.
I bought the pro bundle and at least 3 add ons, then I just added one G8 bundle. Does this mean I lost out on 2 G3 and 3 G2 Pro bundles simply because Daz can't write? Jeeez...
Bit grainy as I finished it early - was just a test. Not a bad figure. Will have to mix him in with the very very few G8 Males I have LOL and see what I get.

You have to add three Ashan 8 add ons to get that deal...but the sales discount increases so the price for the bundle drops. My overall priice after adding a couple of the textures and one of the add on characters was lower than the bundle alone.
