It was the 1st time in forever Daz had a bundle deal that made sense.

If it comes back I'll go ahead and place my order. If not, it will stay deleted.

certainly are glitchy times, he looks quite awesome but even with the previous glitch deal I resisted as still need to save up for the hardware to use DAZ studio first

same price in cart, less then half the value. Well, if the pricing is actually going to stay as is, I now have to think about it. The other pricing with 6 free pro bundles was a no brainer. I will never go for coffee again with a true deal in my cart without placing the order. 

If I actuaLLY NEEDED the new stuff i would go for it, but I don;t, and half the time it doesn;t matter what charcter is in a scene as its mainly to have someone in it. maybe just stick to PC+ sale again. Thinking about it. 

The Ashan character with HD looks pretty decent though. More product shuffling to happen.

The FIRST page that launched in the wee hours read that one could select from all the categories. So I did. Shortly thereafter the other page launched and it said to chose one option.

We're not going to be getting much sleep if all the best sale deals are in the wee hours of the morning!

Had the promotion been worded correctly from the start, I would have placed the order with a free G8 pro pack

but as I was busy adding a number of  50% items from the other PA's I returned to the cart and noticed the massive price hike

It left a sour taste in my mouth, and on a point of principle the complete order had to be deleted

so DAZ lost a sale and the PA's also lost out too

The promotion was (and still is) worded correctly, but there was a glitch earlier today in the customer's favor. Now the glitch has been corrected and the promotion is working as originally advertised.

This place is crazy. The deal as it was made sense to me. How many people are buying Genesis 2 or 3 pro bundles these days? Giving a few away makes sense to me, especially for newer users. Daz started out G8 giving lots of previous bundles away, so I figured they had returned to that tactic again. As it is now, I find it a very odd deal. With a choice of 3 generations, how many people are really going to choose the G2 bundles when they are buying a G8? That's pretty goofy to me. But giving them away along with a couple G3 and a G8, that's a logical deal. Some of this stuff is 6 years old, the value it holds for Daz now is as giveaway content to entice people to buy new stuff. It plays on psychology to bate people to buy. Even if they never use that old content, seeing so much stuff in a deal is a tremendous lure.

Male content needs all the deals they can get. Why not?

Now people are agitated, and the tone of the thread has shifted from overwhelming joy to, well, this.

Well, I don't need this guy's bundle, but the deal is good with the banner. I think I get my Pro bundle price down to $22.26 with 3 add-ons.

I have ALL of the Genesis 2 & 3 Pro Bundles at this point, so whatever the change is, it doesn't affect me LOL. That means I get to choose amongst the Genesis 8 Pro Bundles that I don't have. (Somehow, I passed on Alawa, so that's the obvious choice right there.)

Really, I'm shopping for the other stuff in the deal (doing more with Genesis 3 lately), and not Ashan.
50% plus 50% (in Daz maths) is still pretty good.

That was the "glitched" version that worked for a short period. Now it's "fixed" so you can only choose from one category.

I've purchased all the bundles except Leroy because I didn't care for the clothing but I did get some of the characters. So I didn't jump at the get free bundle deal  Anyway, with the banner, I got the bundle at $22 and change with all the add ons I wanted plus some FA items at 50% off with the coupon. So this deal was a great deal

just a very rough test scene using something from every product in the Ashan 8 Pro Bundle poses/expressions, hairs, clothng, characters plus the bonus textures for the Helios out fit and Cleric outfit and Ashan HD add-on.
First up holding the staff is combo of all three characters+ Ashan's HD- the skin is one of Asbasi's skins wearing Hand Of Helios with bonusadd on texture. Next we have Astra with the Atlas Hair and wearing CB Knight Order, next is Ashan with his HD add on morph wearing the Cleric Outfit with bonus textures and sporting the Ashan Beard, and finally is Abasi in the Isidious Monk Outfit. All this outfits are dforce capable tried using but they exploded on me so left as is. As mentioned just a rough test scene so it is not perfect scene just slapped together for a test look

That was about the bundle price which had lost its discount, not about that offer.
