This was a very strange PA sale. I think this is the first month in years that I haven't bought a single item, and that's during one of their main sales events where I always end up buying new releases that I don't really want just because the bargains more than make up for it. I wonder if the PA's are feeling the pinch this year? Hopefully the PC+ sale will be a little more exciting.
Yup.
That, and all the rocks during the one-dollar RDNA sale at the very beginning.

This year I am going to upgrade my PC as I managed to save for it, it probably might ruin my Black Friday and PC+ budget of this year. Thus i am feeling happy and unhappy both at the same time.
I personally hope it doesn't actually end until Thursday. It's too early to have the PC+ sale yet.
I wonder if this is a harbinger of what the PC+ sale will be like.
The major sales always start on a Monday, so if PC+ sale does not start tomorrow, it will be in 8 days time instead. If so there will be a single "no sale" week, although I don't remember that happening in the past.
Seeing what the PC+ items where during the last three months I am not very confident in spending a lot of money. The whole PC+ section contains a lot of legacy items. I am not really interested in Genesis 2 or earlier items, to be honest. Still, I might see some surprises. Let's wait and see.
"No sale" weeks can have pretty good sales!
If it follows the usual pattern, we'll have the PA sale "held over" for another few days. Not that it really matters. This wasn't really a PA sale, but because DAZ was double stacking deals on top of Gift Certificates, l bought a bunch of stuff because even though the adverstised sales were only so-so, I was usually getting anywhere from an extra 25 to 50% off from the discounted GCs. That said, I've pretty much cleaned out the store of everything I want at this point, so I expect that my purchases at DAZ are going to drop significantly in the near future and focus on getting my existing items into iClone.
Oh, look (no surprise) the sale is extended!
[shock] Well, I never expected that...
Nobody probably did. An extension of the PA sale is a bit like the spanish inquisition - nobody expects that either... or would look forward for it...
Maybe we need to cull the legacy items then?
(awaits backlash..!)
Well, I for one am astonished. Astonished, I say! I cannot believe they would ever manufacture urgency and then go "nevermind."
If they're going to drag this out another few days then they really really need to refresh the themed Special Item offerings. Very limited number, and lots of them have cropped up repeatedly this past month. I owned the vast majority to begin with and bet a lot of other people did as well, because they're all pretty popular picks. Lots of others have likely already bought everything during the sale.
Kinda devalues the bundling incentive when you miss out on a full quarter of the perks. I'm having trouble finding anything I need and certainly can't find anything that's enough of a need to justify paying the extra percentage compared to its lowest price history.
Has the PA sale started yet? So far it's been as lame as a one-legged firewalker.
I can only have so much money prised from my poor broke hands anyway
The Management's new set looks very Souls like and awesome so definitely not a lack of great content forthcoming just funds on my side to buy it, I know that PA actually supports Poser too, I wish I could buy it.
Please don‘t do that, there‘s a lot of older things on my wishlist! Not everyone has been around continously for the last 10 years you know ...

Well, what you do is buy the bundle, and then also buy the three things in the bundle separately. Four items! They make it so easy for us.
The bundle plus the two DOs (the mummy poses and the elather shaders) would be slightly cheaper than the bundle alone as long as you are a PC member (it's about $3.80 more in a private window with no PC discounts) and would then unlock the extra savings, if the dungeon is the only thing you want. Alternatively, if you are not PC, the three parts of the bundle are about $1 more than the bundle so if that saves you money elsewhere it's almost certainly the better deal.
+1
I bought a substantial gift card yesterday in anticipation of the PC+ sale. Now, I have to see if I can hold on to that credit until it starts.
As with today's sale I am more and more seeing: "Cannot be used to purchase an Item previously owned at a lower price". That trend pretty much reduces the value of DAZ's 30 day price guatantee; and as a consequence reduces my interest in making immediate purchases. So, now I'm mostly just putting things on my wishlist.
Daz may not be done with the PA sale but I am.
LOL, I'm happy. I did chicken out and buy 2 more PA interactive licenses Sunday when the sale was supposed to end but 2 more sets are waiting for me to buy. PA sales are much more difficult to wrangle the great prices for PA items than PC+ sales give for DOs.
I spent less than 1/2 of what I spent last year during the PA sale. The sales just weren't enough to move me very often to buy like in past years (this is my 9th PA sale). Items were wish-listed but not much really bought. Some was the price but the deterioration in QA across the board (issues with the actual content that aren't updated, smart content metadata issues, folder/icon issues, chronic sales pricing issues, confusing sales wording, etc.) also factored into it. As I'm one of those with 424 pages in my product library, a normal consistent buyer that is willing to spend extra money on the newest releases, from my perspective this PA sale really didn't stack up to past ones.
