Ditto. Forsaken Keep is $11.09 today with no weirdness. Will likely spring for it, even though it's only been around for about six months and doesn't have a full year of price fluctuation data yet. If trends for the PA's other products hold this is a good buy.
And no math or multi-bundle/DNRO buy-ins.
Ah. The page wasn't loading for me. It was linking me to a page of the content that discounts if you buy the Twosret bundle. That was earlier this morning. It's been fixed since then. Or at any rate, by browser is now showing it.
The newsletter also lists the new stuff. But as late as a good couple of hours after midnight it was ignoring new contewnt on my end.
They are using the same page each day for the sale, so it's been taking a good two hours for that page to update every day for e, and definitely could be cached for even longer than that.

Well, i have to say that today deal with the simple trigger of 70% Off EXTRA without coupon looks better. That fantasy armor is a lovely deal, too bad is not my theme.
Do the same (keeping the big selection of still new) with big extra discount of items already discounted for other themes and i'll be more interested.

Is it me or is the today's "Get a new or still new to get 70% of three of some times and 90% three other times" in real a "buy new/still new item and get three items total from two different pools at 70% or 90% off"?
'Cause when I put more than three items total from those two pools into the card - but not more than three from either pool of course - only three get the proper price reduction.

Yes, GREAT-DEALS is a great deal when stacked with the other discount deals today. I added a still new item I wanted anyway to take advantage of the 70% off deal. There were no 90% deals that interested me, because of how old they are. The coupon didn't work on PC+ items, even though they are not excluded by the coupon text. So we are still in the state of sales not working as advertised, but that's just to be expected (sadly).
Today's was okay. I owned pretty much the entire Fantasy Related category already, though, at least what I was willing to take for 70% off. Same with any of the "Mind-Blowing" category that I was interested in. I used the coupon on FA wishlist wants. That meant the max discount for most of those was 70% (eh, but they're things I'll need sooner rather than later and either there's a wait of months for better deals based on the past year's trends, or this is about the best deal I'll get based on similar products from the PA), with 50% on the Still New items (good for new stuff but bad overall). Hopefully they work out very well because at that price, they're going to have to go back if they do not.
I did end up able to stack the coupon with the Triple Moon Cottage to get it down to $1.82, which was nice. Makes me wish I'd held off on buying Red Crow Inn instead of getting it from Fast Grab, lol.
Obviously, "okay" excludes the exhaustingly expected and daily vagueries and errors in the ad copy and how the sales function, which Daz does not seem to particularly care about.
Ugh! I screwed up. There were two outfits more that I wanted PA licenes for cheap & forgot to buy! Maybe it's be back during a catchup later.

I have always been curious what those extra interactive licenses are actually for... are there 1 or 2 examples of what you guys use it for so that I can wrap my head around it? I can only think of people who use DAZ products in computer game designs etc where the product/character is not in a static render... but there can't be so many of such people around for DAZ to hold such frequent license promos, can there? Just trying to understand.
Maybe not many on the forums, although you might want to take a quick peek at the Unreal Engine subforum to see that it's probably more than you think. Between the bridges and the interactive license sales, I think it's pretty clear that Daz is trying to make greater inroads to the game dev market. The reason interactive licenses exist is that, from a render or a video, none of Daz's content is actually available to end users. If a game needs to actually include the mesh and/or textures to be usable, that potentially exposes the information to end users.
So would it be correct for me to assume that interactive licenses are largely meant for computer game designers? In which case I will never again have to bother about those license promos :P
Yes, it's strictly for computer programmers making interactive content. I'd link what I've made in the past but the promotional screen shots only show artwork done my me or bought outside of DAZ. Another level in that game with no screen shots does use actually DAZ/Poser model an interactive license was needed for. Also, I don't publish using a company name like that used for that game anymore as that name is literally used by hundreds or thousands of others as their company name too so I don't want to link it here because it'll lead to confusion as to what's what & who's who. I now use a similarly easy short name that is used by hundreds instead of thousands.
I used my first go on some Fast Grabs, which were definitely cheaper than a lot on my wishlist but will be very useful in the near future. This is what I keep telling myself because I rushed just in case they weren't supposed to be included, given the near daily mistakes in the ad text and site functionality. There was also a morph pack that I am actually regretting now because I realize it won't work how I'd envisioned.
Second is focused on items either high in price or priority. I'm still finalizing my choices. Filter Forge Pro for $24? Dark Knight Horse and Cloudscape Creator bundles for $10 apiece? I started with a cart that had 20 things in it and each one I had to remove hurt a little. Easily the best deal we've gotten during this sale and hopefully Daz will do something similar once more before it's over, when another group of artists is featured.
For what is supposed to be a PA sale, there seems to be a lot of focus on Daz Original bundles and other items.
I, for one, welcome our ancient Egyptian overlords.

Yep. I think the entire point has been lost and it's just DAZ doing business as usual.
