I do have one concern for you paperback lovers. The first two covers had black spines. This one has the entire image showing. Let me try to attach an image of the flat image of the paperback cover. At any rate, is this going to cause distress?

Good news, folks! The print version has been released into the wild. Amazon's means of linking everything to each other hasn't sorted itself out yet, but you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1794107967

As always, I'd greatly appreciate that anyone who reads any of my books leave a review. Just a couple of sentences is all it takes. Thanks!

LoL, no. I think Bob Salvatore would be rather vexed if I sold stories with Drizzt in them. My male drow is a psion named W'rath. He is far more sarcastic than Drizzt. He lacks a panther, but in this latest book acquires a chicken. ????

    And ordered.  laughheart

And it came today!  I feel very sorry for the person that brought it though..  it's scary cold here.  My mom's going to read it first, I need to find time to reread the first 2 or I'll be terribly confused.  Mom ended up leaving her copies of the first 2 in Wisconsin when we rescued her, so when she finally gets off our couch and a place of her own we'll be ordering new copies for her 'cause she wants her own set and she won't get mine... mine mine mine mine

Wow! Thank you. You always make me happy I went to the effort of formatting a print version. Just so you know, I updated the covers for the first two books to reflect the new style I'm going with. No more black spines, the fonts have been modified to be more in line with a professional look, and on book one Raven has been updated to conform to her new "look".

Also, someone left an amazing review! Thank you, whoever you are.

At long last the fourth and final volume in the Chronicles of Shadow is out: Exile's Vengeance. I know I posted it would be a three volume series, but things got a little crazy and I had to wrap it up in a fourth book. Lots of DAZ products used in making of the cover, and of course, I used DAZ Studio to render it. This time around, Lord Icewind (in purple) and Lady Culna'mo (in armor) are featured. Both ebook and the print version are out. I'm working on a series of short pieces now featuring the twins, Caeldan and Ryld, plus Jaki (ten years older than the events in the series) and a few new characters within their age bracket. I hope everyone loves reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Great work on the cover.  Congrats on the release.

  • You nailed the ever elusive Drow skin. Very nicely done, indeed.

Only if you consider seventeen old. P

I had to bring her up to an age appropriate for hanging out with the twins. While they're a lot older than her in actual years (elf years), I'd say she is the more mature by a good bit.

Thanks! Since W'rath and Raven are the main protagonists, I was obsessed with getting their skin right.

Thank you to everyone else who chimed in. I love that I can combine my love of art with my love of writing. Jaki can attest to the amount of time I've spent learning how to use DAZ Studio. Though I'm thinking she's more than surpassed me over the years.
