Yes. Also, since you use DAZ Install Manager to install products, there is no reason to login with Daz Studio.
Daz studio has zero need to be online except while you are installing or uninstalling something via Connect.

I hope they extend the sale. Their "fix" really messed things up. I haven't been able to order since Sunday morning and don't have any confidence that things will improve until later this week. I thought I had to login to DAZ Studio occasionally because it seems to update metadata when you first log on. I have it set to launch offline as the default.
I noticed that after installing anything with DIM, that Studio will update metadata on the newly installed items. But maybe this is unnecessary if I always install products with DIM?
I use gmail too—have you checked your 'promotions' tab? That's where mine come through
12 hours ago my 131 page product library was nothing more than a couple of empty boxes . . . now, at least I have it back. Staying positive for PC sale items to return!
Yes, if you log in DS will update metadata.
DIM install will load metadata included in install packages for the new items, so it's not really required to log in to get them, but it can be useful to get updates if there was something to fix in the metadata.
Store still not discounting PC+ $1.99 items!!! I have logged out, cleared all my Cache, relogged in again and no change.
Also newly created Content not all discounting and PC Vendor sales are missing from todays page!!
Is anyone else experiencing this and when will it be fixed??

FYI too: When I logged into DAZ Studio yesterday after the updates, it proceeded to update metadata on over 1400 products. Which scared the hell out of me. It usually only updates metadata for new products. So I hope I did not screw anything up and I hope all my products are still installed because I have over 1800 products total, not 1400.
Yeah but at the same time I'm VERY UNHAPPY to see that they elected to nuke the SKU and Order Number information in exchange for adding that back.
Again, in an attempt to help with the debugging, my PC+ status is now all good - correct expiry date and I have access to the PC+ Forum.
However if I click on the Platinum Club + link of the main page and then click on the "Shop All PC+ Items" link it takes me to the OOPS page.
No PC+ items to be found.
I have logged off and on several times. Hope it helps
I'm using hotmail and am having the same issue. Every promotion email you get has a little "Unsubscribe" button which if you hit - you get no more of them - but you still get order and gift cards because they used a different server. I say used because it seems all emails now go through the marketing servers - which in some cases have been told not to bother you (and I haven't found any option to turn it back on - nor get my missing gift cards resent.)
I'm too far behind to catch up so appologies if this has been mentioned, but I noticed the "notes" section in the wishlist is now gone.
Yeah, wishlist comments got nuked. Daz said not enough people were using them so they didn't implement that this time.
I believe it was mentioned in early announcement/info that wishlist notes is now gone with the new website since it wasn't being used enough. So that won't be coming back even when the site is stable.
My own personal site bugs update: my PC+ membership is now showing as "active" finally! But it doesn't much matter, since none of the discounts are working correctly either on the product pages nor in the cart. This is a mess, and I was really looking forward to getting a number of items, but without the discounts, that's not happening. As others have said: I also hope they continue the sale through the week or at least until everything is fixed enough that the sale actually works.
Depending on your browser, logging out of the store, clearing the browser cache, and then restarting the browser and logging back in may help. "May" being the operative word, it worked for me with Firefox but not with Chrome.
Also while that helped with the PFAD items, it didn't help with anything else discount-wise.
I'm glad to read it worked. Note to others sometimes it could take several attempts.
Yeah, it was weird! But it took after a couple tries, the desktop did need an extra go as well.
No joy with Chrome, but Firefox is at least handling things okay now. What things work, at any rate.

Is it me or are the "Friends of the Sale" not showing up at all on the Catch Up Sale page? The page ends rigth after the PFAD.
Just had the log in issue again but prior to that my cart disappeared altogether. Not just empty, it was displaying the Oops page every time I clicked on it. Back again now but for how long?
Reporting that the 4 products that I purchased Sunday morning prior to the store change are still missing from my Product Library.
Is this issue of missing products being addressed or do I need to file a ticket in order to access these purchases?

One thing people might not have noticed with the PC coupons, the characters have changed according to the PC pge in our accounts...instead of dashes, the codes read with underscores...and they're still not applying to anything...

This is really annoying me. Yesterday I get the rug pulled out from under me while trying to purchase a LOT of sale items only to have the site shut down all day (without an email heads up, mind you). Luckily I saved my cart locally. Now that I've taken the time today to reload my cart, I find out I CAN'T USE GIFT CARDS!!! I have 3 cards worth several hundreds of dollars and now there's no way to use them! Are you (DAZ Store) planning to extend the sale indefinitley (until you get it ALL fixed)?
