  • I'm showing as active in PC+ but do not get the 1.99 PFAD prices or any other discounts that someone not signed in doesn't get, and this is after logging out and back in.

    I just started building up a massive cart of 264 items of Platinum For A Day and they all just went full price before I could start going in and trimming it down (unless DAZ wants to give a nice 50% coupon, we're gearing up for a number of series and projects at Babs Do Productions!) so I don't know what to do but wait until it's fixed. It's definitely early for sale changes, it's 9:14PM PST and sales usually don't switch until somewhere after 11:30PM.

    I also hope that the promotion PC will be extended until the ps discounts are restored. And the gift card payment window will be restored. Now it is not.

    @elenazontik, You can convert you Gift Card to store credit, (which I find a lot easier.)

    Go to this page, and paste your GC code in the box, then click on the Redeem Gift Card button. If all goes well, you won't see any messages. After redeeming the code, click on the Store Credit link in the row of icons and you will see your credit has now increased by the amount of your GC.

    Gift Cards will expire after one year, but Store Credit never expires. Another perk to using Store Credit.

  • I don't know if this kind of error has been reported, but I ordered a gift card 10 hours ago and it still hasn't appeared in my mailbox. Is there a way to check its status?

    Tried to check out the PC Weekly Freebie Bundle. It shows free in the cart. But the store wants a payment method (I choose PayPal) and then can't process the order...

    Put some PFAD items in cart, prices OK  ($1.99), checked out, stored CC worked fine without updating anything, email receipt looks fine, items for that purchase are showing up in product library, correct amount charged from bank account.  So basically checkout seems to be working as usual now, at least for me.

    Like others. Everything is full price even though I verified I am PC+ until Oct 20, 2021. This includes the platinum for a day, buy a debut item and get one item free from the select group... Frustrating because all of the catch up platinum for the day on Sunday and Monday showed as full price. Now they're gone. Are you extending it one more time?

    Yes. Also, since you use DAZ Install Manager to install products, there is no reason to login with Daz Studio.

    I thought I had to login to DAZ Studio occasionally because it seems to update metadata when you first log on. I have it set to launch offline as the default.

    I noticed that after installing anything with DIM, that Studio will update metadata on the newly installed items. But maybe this is unnecessary if I always install products with DIM?

     

    I also thought for the longest time that DS needed to be online to update metadata that was installed through DIM, but DIM will get the metadata updates too. I ran into a metadata update issue by using both methods, and was told by a reliable source to not use both. So I only use DIM to manage product installations/updates.

  • PC+ items are STILL not showing PC+ pricing. The entirety of Category 9 is full price (which means any discount comes off of the price we literally pay to NOT have to pay), today's debut PC+ items are full price...

    Into the third day, during the PC+ sale because that's when they decided this chaos should happen, of PC+ members not receiving the benefits we pay you real money for, Daz.

    Was supposed to have a new product out today but happy for it to be delayed until the store is working as intended. (and the forum - still only seeing one PA sub-forum and no PC+ forum - relatedly, the bookmarked thread I had from the PA forum is not showing up - 'no discussions found' - though it's showing as 1 bookmarked thread in the forum menu.

    Still - at least the main forum is up so I can keep tabs on what's happening.

    Edit: Related - my store is showing me 11 products including one swirly (when I uncheck 'hide items I own') - but I've only had 10 released (including DO's) - is anyone else seeing all 11?

    'Bought' a random permanent freebie, this time I could check out the normal way, without being asked for payment method. But now the current PC freebies are no longer free.... (Also, PFAD no longer works for me, also not after checking out, clearinf the history and logging back in...)

     

    Summary: Before the store switch, some things were wonky. Since the store switch, everything is wonky.... Curious to see the store return to normal. Hoping for somewhere next week, not having my hopes up high for the remainder of the PC Anniversary sale....

    Hey, can you check to see if the links in the email  for the order confirmation work? I reported that yesterday morning. When you click on each product, do you get an error message? I can't remember if it used to go to the Product Library or the product page, I think it was the Library.

    The URLs generated by the receipt links are bad:

    ...prices are weird again.  Getting charged for freebie items, a 4.99$ PC+ item shows as 5.93$ (which should be discounted as I have a Debut New release) and a PC+ for a Day item is showing 14.16$ in the cart instead of1.99$.   As it's just shortly after prices changed no doubt things haven't settled yet so off to sleep and will check my cart in the morning.

    The Save On Several coupon does work though.

  • the store promised to extend the promotion at 1.99 (for November 1), but on November 2, it did not manage to buy products for (November 1). :(

    Today the promotional item was changed; (which also does not turn into 1.99. Can the store return sets of items for( November 1) ?

    Something got screwed up just now: PFAD had finally started discounting correctly, but as I was building a cart, several items lost the discount a few minutes ago and no longer show $1.99 in cart. Please re-fix PFAD... Would like to actually get my PC+ benefits.

    If folks are having issues with not seeing the correct prices, such as PC+ for a day and so on.. Clear you browsers cookie and site data and you should be good.. Clearing mine in Firefox all the PC+ items have gone back to how they should be, and PC+ for a day has returned to normal for me..

    Forgot to add that I did clear my browsers history as well..

    1. I am seeing discounts being not shown on the items themselves, but showing up in varying amounts on the checkout page.
      1. This was fixed in Chrome by: Settings | Cookies and other site data > See all cookies and site data > {search for daz3d} > Remove All Shown
    2. I am seeing free items (Foxhole Props) not showing up as free in the cart. (Not fixed with above steps.)
    3. I am not getting the 15% discount on Debut or Still New items. (Not fixed with above steps.)
    4. I am seeing my PC+ status as fine, theoretically until mid-December, but not getting PC+ discounting on new DAZ Originals, or PC+ items. (Fixed with above steps.)
    5. My credit card information apparently did not transition over, even though (unlike many) I know that DAZ doesn't store the credit cards, but delegates that to a secure third party, holding only tokens.  Adding a new credit card in the Payment Methods section did not create the new card, but adding it during checkout appears to have worked.  (And, wonder of wonders, actually preserved the leading zero in my last four digits unlike the previous payment methods page.)
    6. I have filed a ticket regarding the Gift Card I bought not arriving, nor the receipt for the purchase arriving, despite the one item I bought with it being in my library.  There's murmurings that if I have my email set to not send me marketing messages, that my Gift Card and Receipt emails may have gone the same way.  But there's no email preferences pane to control whether I receive email or not.  I found an old email that allows me to 'resubscribe' if I unsubscribed in error, but I'm hesitant to do that until I've heard back from support.
    7. My DAZ Install Manager is not being successful in loading items to download, resulting in a blank 'Ready to Download' tab.

    I'm not sure what else I can report, but these are each individual problems that make it hard to use the site, hard to buy items, and hard to use the items I've bought.


    I remember the (circa 2012) changeover to the new Magento store, which was very rough.  I remember the changeover to the new static JSON slabs, which was also rough for a while.  This too shall pass, and things get better.  I remember (second-hand, although I did access a publicly available test DAZ instance once) how those were tested, and they functioned well in the test environments, but when the full volume of production was brought to bear, they had issues that were not something that can be replicated in a test environment.  These issues are not as serious as the caching issues that Varnish caused, where other people's usernames and little bits of information would show on the pages.  They are maybe on the same level as the entire front page not being able to load slabs for the products...

    I know the folks working on it are frustrated that it didn't work as well as it probably did in testing.  I know we are also, but it'll get better.

    Today, it behooves us to believe things will get better.

    I posted this in my Art Studio thread, but you should know this- and it may vary by person. (How strange we are all getting different results!)

      When I bought something, IT DOES NOT SHOW UP AS OWNED AND STAYS ON THE GALLERY PAGE!!!!!!!!!!

    I  cleared cache, did a hard refresh and that meeting room I just bought is still on the gallery page and the product page does NOT show owned! That is important to note as we have two codes to use in today's sale, on the same gallery pages. So you have to remember what you bought!!!!!
