I think I just got called a noob in a game I have played off and on for about ten years. It was not my main but a secondary character. I was considered a noob because my combat was low, but I have not worked on combat for this character. I have been working on secondary skills like wood cutting and one called rune crafting which will let me make the needed runes for the magic skill.

I need to go find my pillows soon. They are probably on my bed as that is where I usually keep them.

You said good night about an hour ago! You're still up?

    Dana

I was asleep off and on. I better go back to bed soon.

I got the bones to transfer over but I'm unsure how to have them move with the wing. I'm going to have to take time to read about rigging over the weekend. What I did was load in the base, convert to Triax Weight map. Load in wings, convert prop to figure, triax weight map. Then you can transfer utility but that's where I'm not sure if I'm clicking all the right settings before getting the bones.

Ugh, sinus headache up the wazoo. We will be rearranging half of my office (mainly where my predecessor sat) and it's loaded in dust. Had the janitor dust just two weeks ago and still managed to get a sinus headache from moving stuff. Tomorrow I'm going to have to wear my steel toe boots and take a Claritin or something

3M N95 rated dust and particle mask should help when cleaning. :)

I worked so hard to get home in time. I crossed a busy street just to catch the bus to get home just in time. That intersection has no crosswalks and is extremely busy especially during rush hour traffic.

    ...I hear you on that.

Where I live there is a very busy street (even though it is primarily a residential neighbourhood) posted at 35 mph (most of course drive faster than that) with no crosswalks except at an intersection several blocks east and one several blocks west which have traffic lights. These lights are also poorly timed so as not to allow for a total break in traffic for those crossing between the two intersections (to get to/from shops and a market). There are no "safety islands", so one either has to stand in a traffic lane and wait for the other traffic to clear (hoping not to be hit in the meantime), run across the street (not easy for older people like myself), or as I end up doing, waiting anywhere from five to even ten minutes for there to be a decent break in the traffic going both ways before crossing.

The sad thing it usually takes someone being hit and killed for any action to be taken.

A pity that cities have become more car, rather than people "friendly".

Ok, thanks to Danas research I've had SOME luck with the wings. I had to:

    - load Ocean Queen
    - load wings w/ Ocean Queen selected
    - Apply materials separately to main figure and wings
    - Apply pose to main figure
    - THEN, apply pose to wings

    End result:

...those look really nice. So where is this draggy available?

    RDNA. Called the Ocean Queen.

    Real nice textures :)
The textures do look nice. Wings as props, though, is something I know a couple of people who wouldn't put up with. They'd take them into a modeler and turn them into rigged figures. Of course they are using Poser so dynamic wouldn't be a problem....
Couldn't something similar be done in D/S? Make the wings figures with morphs and parent them to the dragon?

It might be possible. I'll have to dig around, I thought I recall a tut on building bones inside Daz but I don't know if that is from the old forums or not.
...I would think that could be handled with the CCTs that are included in 4.6.

...sounds like I should send you a couple of my special beef & black bean (whole) burritos I made with both Fresno and Hatch chile peppers (which I then doused with Tapatio™ before rolling them up).

    ...oooohh 'dat burns so good.

Funny, I can eat things like this, as well as hot Thai or Indian curry and suffer no ill effects, but buffalo wings make me sick to my stomach and pepperoni pizza gives me incredible heartburn.

It's more likely the grease that gives you the heartburn.

tracking a package via Fed-Ex is um... odd to say the least. Why is the package going from China to Memphis, TN, then to Japan? I thought the package would go from Memphis to the mid-Atlantic states? Or am I misinterpreting the history?

...I used to work with both FedEx and UPS shipping.

How this reads thus: the point of origin is always shown as the "last location" when a package is still in transit. "In transit" also refers to any ground handling so the first two Shenzen China entries are most likely the package being transferred from wherever it originally shipped (the company ordered from) to a processing centre, to the airport.

All international shipments must pass through customs therefore the "International Shipment Release - Import" statement.

This all occurred on the 26th.

On the 27th, the package was then flown to Sennan-Shi Japan for transfer to another flight. It was most likely held for customs confirmation to be released from the Memphis hub before it could continue on it's way. The "In Transit" location is most likely another ground movement of the package (from plane to truck) during this process. The two entries were most likely one to satisfy customs requirements in both China and Japan (it is a bit curious that they didn't hold for confirmation from Memphis while the package was still in Shenzen).

Finally on the 28th after clearing customs in Sennan-Shi for export to the US, the package was placed aboard a plane and is currently en route to Memphis. Once it arrives there will most likely be another one or two "In Transit" entries with Memphis as the location as the package is transferred to another flight to your hometown. Depending on available flights, there may be a stop and/or transfer at another Fed Ex location before it finally arrives where you live. The only time your home city will be listed as the "location" will be when it is finally taken of the plane processed and placed aboard a truck at your local airport for delivery to your home address.

    Hope this helps clarify things.

The real PITA is that my body seems to be, slowly but surely, losing its tolerance for hot pepper based spicy stuff. So far, curry up to upper-medium hot is safe.

Pepperoni will kick my butt IF it's greasy (ref Dana), but the place I get my pizza uses a very dry pepperoni so there's almost no extra grease.. very nice. :)

I have one hot beef stick here I'm going to eat shortly, will generate plenty of sweating and sinus clearing...! :ahhh:
