Uurrgh... Go to sleep at 6:30PM, toss and turn for an hour, then wake up and fuddle about for a bit trying to get back to sleep, then end up just reading a book for a bit only to notice the time: 11:10PM.

Really? I only slept that long? Now I'm wide awake and unable to get back to sleep, which means tomorrow is going to be absolute crap - I can see it already :blank:

Somthing to complain about but hopes your day is as full of sunshine as mine was :)

    +1

On to do list for me: Get a new email account, convert my account here to it.
THat way the next time I'm stuck on the Win 8 compy with WaterFox I can play around with things and figure out WTH Daz keeps insisting I have an invalid user id or password when I try to log in here.
No problem at all logging in on the XP machine with FireFox that I normally use and am back on now.

Dealing with paranoid android logins sure wastes a lot of lazing around time

It was certainly quite annoying. Also quite odd. This is the only site I visit that absolutely would not let me log in.
The reason I was on the backup compy is because my newly upgraded (back in early April) XP somehow got killed by a power blip even though it was on a surge protector. Turned out that the second HD had died and the compy couldn't boot with that drive plugged in even though it's the backup on. Now have a 1T HD in it's place.

Wonder if they will do an AirFox for Macs? Our old (7?) XP box still chugs away sometimes when we need to print something but am expecting it to die maybe when the weather gets hot again. Three years seems to be the magic number, after that electronics get flakey with age and just give up the ghost sometimes for no apparent reason, is all normal the tech guys say

PS Password authentication is sooooo twentieth century, would be happy to get a ID chip implanted is it was practicable

But then the hackers would just hack your chip. And those things will have a lot of private info on them when they do come out. Financial data, health and insurance data, etc. Even now those credit cards with the chip have been hacked from what I've read. There are readers out there that can read the chip as you pass by the offender. So all they have to do is walk around in a crowd, take a walk downtown during busy hours, and they have a lot of personal data and can use it to clone cards.

Ok, thanks to Danas research I've had SOME luck with the wings. I had to:

    - load Ocean Queen
    - load wings w/ Ocean Queen selected
    - Apply materials separately to main figure and wings
    - Apply pose to main figure
    - THEN, apply pose to wings

    End result:

    Looks good!

TroutFace, I know how you feel. There are times when I forgot my checkbook and debit card at home.

Daz website is slow. I cannot access my product library or look at the store. I can log into the forums though.

When I first got on today both the store and the forums were non-responsive. I got the Clodflare message on the forum, but the store didn't even respond at all. Little green circle just kept going, and going, and going. Must be related to the Energizer Bunny.

Now each time I post it takes forever to refresh...then I have to go back to the page I was on to continue reading...

i'm still struggling with the double flashback memory chapter. maybe is too confusing.
he goes from 29, back to 25, back to 8.
if i make into like a prologue, would take out a layer of flashback. hmmm 25 to 8 prolly better.
    or i could begin chapter 2 with ... 4 years later ...

General summary of my day so far:

*Couldn't sleep so did a bit of catch-up work on my UNIX class. Actually felt a bit happy when I successfully logged in to their Linux Server.

*Tried to get back to sleep. Don't think I ever did... SPent much of the night either tossing and turning or being unsure if I was awake or asleep. Day started around 6:11 AM regardless.

*Been playing an old game I liked.

*Still frustrated about juggling my UNIX and Web Design classes. Trying to figure out some things on the latter...

    * http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/heartless-ceo-kicks-puppy-elevator-article-1.1918794 e3e

*Was a birthday today. Happy birthday Tjhon! :D :D :D

*Been admiring some pictures of Takk The Leaper. Fyre is right, he's so handsome.

    *Things

Found out why vending machine was not giving change. Someone used a quarter that was coated in tar and gummed up the system. Pepsi came out to fix it and said I should leave a note on the machine about how much it owes me

In other news I spent all morning and part of the afternoon printing maps from the plotter, folding said maps and trimming excess paper. My legs/feet are killing me. Been far too long since I spent that many hours on my feet. My recycle bin has been emptied five times today. Hopefully I'm done printing and can rest for now

I don't know if today's task would have been easier if Reld could have helped or if he would have burnt a large number of maps in frustration when the cutter didn't fully slice off the excess. Heavens know, I wanted too

Zomg, there were a couple of funnel clouds in Corpus, near the mall and the bay. No report of major damage but wow, scary. And those TStorms are still in the gulf still moving our ways. Suppose to come ashore sometime tomorrow.

Only 20% chance of developing beyond thunder storms. Has the circulation but the upper level winds are not conducive

Morning. Plaintive seagulls calling out from heavy fog looming over city towers and rooftops like thick wet grey gauze outside my window just after sunrise :)

...wish we had Whataburger here in Portland. We do have a local outfit, Burgerville, which is really good but a tad on the expensive side for a burger and fries joint..

...just had the site freeze up on me for the last ten or so minutes trying to submit, annoying. Clearing cache didn't even seem to help. So when is the "new" form site I have been hearing of for about a year now, going live (and the answer better not begin with "s")?

...seems to have bogged down for me just a short while ago. (see comment above). Sitting here watching a new page take more time than it should to load.
