I've just haddock with fish! There's no trout about it, it's playing koi with me. I mean, I hate to carp about it, but I feel like it's making a bass of me! Time to head down the pike now, I'm feeling crappie... Wahoo, omg, that's a moray! I AM a bit eel today.

    :blank: :P

...perched here at the hotspot listening to the tunas they're playing while skating though the forums just for the halibut. Holy mackerel, 76 pages and I'm only on #62! So much catch-up to do, so little taimen anymore.

Nice summery day, as I'm inside all eek, need to catch some rays as well as a few pintadas at the pub.

Guess I'm just bullheaded about enjoying what little personal life I have.

    ...laterz.

Blech, right shoe blew out last night, taped up - emergency Walmart run this morning to buy a new pair. Blech, blech, blech.

    :blank:

However, they have a coin changing machine so I can finally exchange my bag of spare change for paper money, and it will help defray the cost of shoes. Plus, there's a nice liquor store nearby so I can get some fancy beer for the weekend and just hole up at home, so that part is good!

Almost time to head out for breakfast.. I hope the taped up shoe holds out or I'm going to be running around in one shoe and one sock for a while... :-S :long:

    shoe emergency? :blank:

Yeah - walking home last night, tripped over the sole of my right shoe which had come off from the top! :ahhh: Made it home, taped it up but it was obviously irreparable.. Got a new set of fancy black hiking shoes, super comfy, fits over my ankle brace, etc. etc. - $60 but should last a while.

Home now... bus runs only once every two hours on a Saturday. :blank: Trying to render a swamp but this dang thing is polygon-and-texture heavy so it's taking forever. Maybe go out for a beer after a rest.. sitting at a bus stop for an hour, pacing around, kinda wore me out with the heat and all. :long:

    Need... more... water..

    What swamp is it?

    Dana

This one: http://www.daz3d.com/nature-swamp It's massive! The lake is a bit easier to work with.

Ugh, I hate losing power - I need to be able to get online at any time.. argh.. :bug:

I hope your compy is feeling better now! :)

We still have a few cicadas here, near work, but nowhere near as many as a month ago. One last shot at love for 'em.

Complaint: Got rained on coming home from Whataburger! Grey, overcast, and windy now.. yecch. :long:

Non-complaint: breakfast! Breakfast burrito w/ sausage and a jalapeno cheddar biscuit, a milkie, and TWO medium coffees! :cheese:

Next trick - render a lake to put a mermaid into. :blank:

Lots of good Mexican and Tex-Mex places in San Antonio. oddly enough, Tulsa has a good range of places. I just wish Speedy Gonzalez was open Sundays, but it's run by a Mexican Catholic family so Sunday work is forbidden. Good for them, but bad for me.

The cook on weekends at the Whataburger is a nice Mexican guy, he kicks butt on the tauitos and burritos.. his boss lets him put a littl e"home cooking magic" into it. I always love to get Sunday breakfast, I told his boss I come in just for his cooking. :)

It is apparently illegal to deliver beer here.. the restaurants won't do it, and the two local quick-stop stores don't carry anything fncier thn Corona and Dos Equis, sometime sometimes Heineken. It's sad. :long:

Well, I'd wager the transmaps give you a lot of trouble. Everything is transmapped. All the leaves on the trees, and all the blades of grass, and even those reddish, purplish things in the water are big flat objects that change with the transmap and texture map. From what I've read, that's what gives you a terrible time, rendering at least.

Doesn't sound like that UPS has enough juice for your system. It should give you enough time to shut down before it dies.

when we buy vegetables at the supermarket, they make sure we can't grown new vegetables from those?

there's no vitamin that can stop arthritis from getting worse?

Some of the things you can take to help Calcium, Vitamin D3, Omega-3, Vitamin E

the eggs i buy has omega-3. i've seen VitE listed in skin lotion.

the 1aday gummie vitamins has VitE and D3. the label says helps support bone health. taking their word for it. can't tell if it really helps.

...can't do eggs, so my only source if fish, which (other than salmon which I also can't eat) is rather expensive out here.

Fish is pretty cheap here. Only exception is Salmon and Haddock for some reason. I bypass all that isnd just go catch my own. I do buy the big bag of frozen tilapia so we have some fish in the house at all times.

To help keep arthritis at bay make sure you have plenty of vitamin C in your diet, avoid red meat and eat plenty of oily fish. This includes Sardines, tuna, herring, salmon, trout, pilchard and mackerel.
...unfortunately (as I mentioned) Salmon is off the menu for me which is a real pain as it is one of the more inexpensive varieties of fish where I live. Trout for some reason is oddly expensive here in light of the fact Idaho and Montana are pretty much "next door neighbours" and most of what is sold locally is farmed rather than caught. Also somewhat choosy about Tuna and Mackerel for a couple reasons, one being mercury content (which tends to be high in these species) and questionable commercial fishing practises involved. Even so called "line caught" tuna is often not as ecologically sound as it is made out to be since one of the major techniques employed is "long line" fishing which is prone to killing seabirds and other forms of sea life as well. Even my usual favourite, Cod (because of cost), is making me think twice as it is often harvested with an incredibly destructive technique known as "bottom trawling" which is akin tor driving a bulldozer along the ocean floor. This not only destroys the delicate ecology of the ocean floor (like coral beds) but stirs up silt that blocks sunlight for days adversely affecting the photosynthesis process of phytoplankton and kelp.

Recently read an article about how poorly industrial nations are treating the oceans and how much of the damage being done by current unsustainable fishing practises could become irreversable (if it isn't already in some cases) thus posing a serious threat to both food production and the world's climate in the decades to come.

Sadly, with my current schedule, I'm stuck with having to eat rather poorly as we only get 30 min for lunch and by the time I get home (about 22:20), it's pretty much too late to cook a full dinner like I usually would do since I turn in at around 00:30 - 01:00. Not good to go to sleep without taking a couple hours to digest first. Hopefully after the training is over I can get a day schedule and get my life back on a normal routine again.

I picked up Growing Up for Gen 2 and immediately wanted to make Sam a kid, so here's Samuel, age 5, watching Saturday morning cartoons with Grandpa Jiro looking on in amusement.

...got Growing Up for both G2F/M and for Genesis when they came out. Never looked back since. Really don't need a Kid6 or even Teen6 (though I do admit Josie is really cute and adds nicely to the 3D gene pool).

All of my recent pics of Leela, Tracey, Bekka, and the younger Kyoto Kid were created with just G2F or Genesis and the Growing Up morphs.

Blah, going to have to go get a new mouse. When I try to right click things, it's not working half the time. I'd like to get a trackball like I have now, but the local store is out; it'll take 3 to 5 days to deliver. I'd rather not wait that long. So I might get a wireless mouse instead.
