Non-complaint:  Oops, I lied.  Upon deeper delving into the specifications for my baby bear computer's motherboard (Asus  TUF GAMING B450M-Plus-II), I discover that it does indeed have a PCIe3 socket for the graphics cardyes but the other two PCIe sockets are apparently only PCIe2.indecision  So, I'm not as bummed out as was when I thought there was no PCIe3 support at all.  Price I set for selling baby bear just went back up $100.devil

According to the chart below, I fit the category of 1st gen Ryzen5 CPU  (Ryzen5-1400) without on-chip Vega graphics.

Non-complaint:  Wheee..., shopping fun!smiley  I've been playing musical RAM with momma-bear and baby-bear.  I realized that baby-bear's current RAM is 3200MHz but the fastest that old design CPU can support reliably is 2666MHz.  However, the same is true for momma-bear.  In momma-bear I have two sticks of Vengeance-Pro (has RGB lights) 8GB, 2666MHz, CL16.  And two sticks of Vengeance-LPX(no RGB) 8GB, 2666MHz, CL16 for a total of 32GB RAM.  But baby-bear has only 2 sticks of 8GB Vengeance-Pro 3200MHz (it was on sale a few weeks ago) for a total of 16GB.  Yeah it works, but if I'm going to sell baby-bear I'd rather keep the 3200MHz "Pro" RAM with the lights for myself.wink

So, I swapped the 2666 Pro from momma with the 3200 Pro in baby.  Of course, that leaves me with a RAM speed mismatch in momma (two 2666 LPX & two 3200 Pro)  Yeah it will work, but only at 2666MHz, wasting 25% of potential speed of two of the sticks.  But today NewEgg is having a sale on the 3200 LPX.  So I went ahead and ordered a 16GB set of 3200MHz LPX.   Not necesary, I know, but there are a couple of places that I could make better use of 16GB of Vengeance-LPX 3200MHz RAM instead of selling it to someone who might not take advantage of it.  And who knows?  Someday I might find a way to take advantage of a 32GB set of 3200MHz RAM.enlightened  Either in momma-bear or in a new member of the family.  And papa-bear is eyeing that 16GB of 3200MHz non-RGB RAM also.  Papa-bear has no window so he doesn't need fancy lights.  He currently has 32GB of Vengeance-LPX 3200MHz (2 sticks of 16GB) and two empty RAM sockets begging to be stuffed, making a total of 48GB.  Papa-bear also has my recently acquired 12GB 3060 graphics card.  Somebody recently said that for DAZ work your system RAM should be three times your graphic card RAM.  I don't know if that's true or not but it does provide me with a convenient excuse for scratching my itch to shop.devil

And the best non-complaint of all?  I didn't buy it from NewEgg.  I found the same RAM at Amazon and used my accumulated credit points from all my recent purchases.  The final cost for my new 16GB of 3200MHz RAM was $20.  Wheee...yes

I think I'm getting too emotional.  Could be due to my medication I'm just prescribed and/or my time of month about to start.

diet hasn't changed.  now that i think more, the refridgerator in my paren'ts house could be making me sick.  The temperature is 50-55 degrees F.  I don't remember when they last changed the water filter.  Parents should replace the whole unit because no repair company can fix the fridge.  Edit - food spoils fast.  Not sure why my parents are still using the fridge when they are throwing out food every other day.

That's definitely too warm.  It won't be keeping food fresh at that temperature.

    Biguana!

Sometimes I struggle with doing interesting things, or even coming up with them, and just feel like doing something simple.

Non-complaint: My rendering computer wouldn't play games. I've just updated the chipset, and they're now working. I doubt it will, but I really hope that this may also resolve the random restarts - I guess I'll have to wait and see.

    Complaint: I can't stop clenching my teeth/jaw.

Damn. I think I'm going to need another external HDD at some point in the near future. I think my 4TB HDD has lasted (about) a year, and it's almost full. crying

Still don't understand the best way to utilize Spline-IK.  Seems half the time it just does whatever it wants.

Non-Complaint,  figured out why one of the tests I made with xpShatter suddenly stopped working  -  turns out I was a doof and at some point deleted the Emitter that was driving the shatter effect, woops.

...the photo in TJohn's post above reminds me that earlier this morning i received a Red Flag fire warning email for the entire Willamette Valley (which includes Vancouver WA, Portland, Salem, and Eugene here in Oregon) due to strong gusty winds, low humidity, and persistent tinder dry conditions.

We had a rare and unexpected episode of water from the sky here Thursday afternoon (a fairly intense local shower for about ten minutes, the heaviest since about the second week of June) but still nothing near what is needed to reduce the fire danger. Really not looking forward to a repeat of last year.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd now they're not... My AMD program is now giving me the message that I have the wrong chipset driver installed... smh... It's a good thing that the crowbar went missing, otherwise it would've been put to good use by now...angry

EDIT: angryOH MY ... Now the games are working!  All I had to do was plug in my head phones... *headdesk* This computer is ridiculous.
