    @Misty
Five For Fighting's "Superman" is one of my favorite songs, too. :)
They used to play it in the background on "Smallville". Very appropriate lyrics because Clark was afraid to fly until the very last episode.
Hope your ankle is better by now.

    thanks.

    puffer fish feet

That keeps predators from swallowing the fish. Maybe it will work with your feet. :)

Hopes that is all getting better by now Misty :)

Morning. Gloomy grey overcast and wet-blanket humid start to the day, hopefully some wind will start to blow the grey away any time now

    Good morning! :cheese:

I'd send you some sun but I'd have to send ice and snow with it... :bug:

Ice would go well with some good Irish whisky right now :)

Welp, looks like I didn't save my emails from Glare Technologies when I bought Indigo. Or if I did, I accidentally deleted them at some point while cleaning out my inbox :B

Ah well, I'll try and get in touch with support later I guess. Maxwell I'm not going to bother with at the time. Not on this laptop hehe, with only like 10GB to throw around and the unlikelyhood of me actually using MXW much, don't see the point. Will worry about the licenses for that in the future. Probably won't bother with Vray at the moment either.

I remember this alarm clock from the cartoon. Pretty funny, and those are the actual lines of dialogue it gave in one episode. :)
Fan-art tho, not a comic or anything (ANd I don't think it's an exact recreation of the episode either)

Made it in to work after an hour-long wait for the taxi. :blank: Five to seven inches of snow yesterday, very little de-icing done, back roads are a mess.. saw 2 wrecks on the way in. The driver was REAL good, though, so I made it to work without any issues.

Buses running snow routes, which means main roads only. My bus IS running today, whew! I need to go hit the bank at lunch. Blech.

Oh well, back to work..

Very funny! But couldn't Daffy just unplug it or take out the batteries? But knowing what usually happens to Daffy, that would probably backfire somehow.

    Wow! We're having a heat wave! It's 26F and it's only 10:31 am!

The sun is out and I have to do some more shoveling today. Diane got her car back, so I have to make room.

I could complain about the cold but most folks have it worse than I do! :bug:

Coffee gear arrived, going to upgrade my pour-over at home with a larger, lighter-weight cone. This setup will let me brew a travel mugs worth in less time than the current Melitta setup.

New backpack should arrive by Saturday. My old one has been with me for YEARS, gone from Sunnyvale to Seattle to Los Angeles to Napa to Austin and now Tulsa.. old boy is showing his age.. tears, busted zippers, discoloration.. so I'll be retiring him soon.

The new pack is slightly larger and two-toned black/gray, so it'll take less of a hit in the Sun than my dark red pack.

Oh well, back to fighting with the Ethernet interface chip... :blank:

Just be careful out there, one of the guys here in the office hurt his back shoveling and he's out for 2 days. :ahhh:

I remember my old house: It did not have a porch roof to stop the falling snow. Therefore, the snow would pile up against the glass door that opens outward towards the street. I had to enter and exit through the back door. Yes, I walked on the snow in the back yard because until someone bothered to shovel the snow. Parents couldn't shovel snow because of health issues.

Today, parents don't shovel the snow but the neighbors do. Who would want to go out in cold weather? The sidewalks are icy at night because the melting snow freezes after the sun sets.

Philly Cheesesteak flatbread sandwih with ADDED BACON! :cheese:

Braved the cold wind to get it.. but soooooooooo tasty! Filled me right up and made me happy! Soon, I'll brew a cup of fresh coffee and life will be, eh, less miserable. :blank:

Soundcloud stats: 1900 plays in the past year, 62 plays in just the past week.. I wonder if ps1borg is re-listening to my tunes?  I'm not actively promoting myself yet.. weird.. word of mouth, I guess. :-S

Grabbed the morphing fantasy gown.. I visualize it on V6 in a standing pinup pose, re-shaded with a translucent sparkling textyre... mmm... pretty Vicky! :vampire:

3/4 done downloading content.. argh.. but it's all the "best of", no filler.

Tonight I need to go through my vocal libraries.. I think I'm missing a female choir.. need one.. ugh. Guess I'll make do with what I have.. :long:

Well, just finished an hour and a half shoveling spree. I'm done for today. Some of it was really heavy, the stuff that was underneath the most recent snowfall. There's enough room for her to park and get out.

    Relaxing now for a while.

I get a lot of weird questions from the folks here.. they have zero clue about fancy coffee. They think our office coffee is as good as Starbucks. :smirk: I let one gal have a sip, she was in the OMG GOOD state for a while. :smirk: Tulsa is not a super-cosmopolitan town.

Peeps.. must find sugar-free peeps.. :blank:
