how can there be a batman vs superman? batman haz kewl toys, but still

Batman has a plan to take down any other hero, just in case, ESPECIALLY Superman. ISTR Supes was a bit troubled when he found out Batman always has some Kryptonite in his belt.

superman shoulda kept the kryptonite weakness a secret.

iRay really doesn't like to get cancelled. :blank:

Also slow as Hell on this machine. :blank:

    Back to 3Delight. :blank:

Iray is an unbiased engine, they brute force their way through everything and take the slowest but most precise path through an image. This results in incredibly accurate images in comparison to the "approximations" and shortcuts biased engines make, but they're slow as glaciers in most cases. Wonder why DAZ didn't go with Mental Ray instead...

Oh right, I forgot about the fifteen hundred and six different switches and knobs MR has in it's "Basic" settings, not even going into the Advanced ones
Would put almost anyone off from using it. That's probably why they picked Iray then. It's the closest thing you got to a Make Art button, since there's very little in the way of set up in terms of options and configuration. Put the lights in, apply materials, hit render and wait :)
Though to get the best results, you do need to know about the basics of art, theory and composition, as well as some knowledge of light and the materials. The worst lighting setup can ruin the best models and textures, as the best lighting can make the worst models look good :)

Yeah.. I had Reality for a while (before returning it due to bugs) and it was a serious waiting game. The iRay results are good, but since I need sprite sequences now, it's not terribly practical. :blank: The easiest renderer for me, was Lightwave's - it made total sense to me. :)

I own a copy of "Painting with Light", for movie-makers I know but very educational for any artist. Lighting is definitely key!

LW renderer is simple to tweak hey, makes all the difference :)

Different names for the same thing, sometimes called a cyclone here. But I bet there are technicalities, depending on where you are in the world :)

BTW, this is my niece Julia. She was making a new cosplay character, and the weather played along. Guess who?

Cab straight to the biker bar tonight. :gulp:

Friday, Payday, had content money so got over $100 of goodies for about $60, then ordered my fancy work socks AND an electric coffee bean grinder with my leftover discretionary income. Shopping therapy! :cheese:

No sign of, or word from, the hardware dude. I feel left out to dry AND thrown under the bus, all at the same time. :shut: So, to Hell with him..

As the character Tallahassee in Zombieland said, "It's time to nut up, or shut up"! :snake:

So here I am, researching how load capacitors can cause a crystal oscillator to fail, AND learning how to determine what the proper load capacitance is computed. :shut: I am now learning complex circuit design. :blank:

Definitely beer and vodka tonight... :snake:

I hope you've had an enjoyable evening. Mine was spent with PayPal Customer Support. Finally gave up trying to access my account (need to update card info) and the manager and I decided we should give their system until in the morning to catch up. ??????????????????

Maybe your hardware guy already has a new job...with PayPal.

Ian passed out after his rose bubble bath. It was the only bubble bath I had and he didn't bring his Mr. Bubbles with him.

Just think of this as an excellent way to learn so many new things. :coolcheese:
