My wife (Diane) just called. Her best friend Anita passed away today. She's pretty shaken up. She's been in the hospital for over a week, pneumonia. I was actually afraid this might happen, but hoped for the best. Diane has had enough on her mind lately.

    That's my complaint.

    sympathies.

    +1 sorry for your loss

Thanks. Worried. I called her a few minutes ago and it went straight to voice mail.

5pm al ready. where did the last 5 hours go?

yeah where did the time go and why can't i be home till seven. really pushing it on time out. i have a limit of twelve hours to be out and about and i will be very close to that limit.

you haz extreme willpower not to eat the flutterby cookie.

thinking about it all day, makes me look forward to being on a bus at 7am

I still have not eaten it but I am waiting for my dinner to digest. I will eat it in a bit.

I would't have lasted long either

I am not supposed to eat in my room but that cookie will not make it till morning.

the flutterby cookie is softer in the middle, and the icing is thick and softer than it looks, teeth sinks in it
the magic of spring in every bite.

I have to wait until I know for sure I won't be checked on in order to eat it. I do not want to be caught eating the cookie in my room specially when I only have one cookie and not another to use as a bribe.

edit: here are photos of the cookie to prove I have not eaten it yet.

    it's like sunshine :)

Diane just called me. The battery in her phone was about to die so she shut it off. She's on her way home now. We'll probably get take-out for supper. She's not in the mood for the leftover chicken from last night.

I thought that her phone battery might be low. That is what happened to me today. My phone turned off because of very low battery, but it is charging now.

First, I am happy, for I am to wed the fair Melissa ... er, no, this isn't a cartoon.

First, I am happy, for I have a working credit card again.

Then, I am annoyed, because the first day I can make a purchase in seven days, M6 is no longer free-with-purchase...

Chicago sposed to be the windy city :)
...that nickname actually isn't because of the local weather, but the city's politicians back in the 19th century.

Charles A. Dana, once the editor of the New York Sun is "officially" credited for coining the term in an 1893 editorial that said "Chicago was windy because of its full-of-hot-air politicians". (Chicago and New York were rials inbidding for teh 1892 Columbain Exhibition .

However the true origin of the term was traced back to entry in a May 9, 1876 Cincinnati Enquirer article with the headline, “THAT WINDY CITY. Some of the Freaks of the Last Chicago Tornado.” The headline used innuendo to comment on the speakers who were full of wind and that there was a windstorm.

Sleeping a lot, also not much for me to respond to here at the moment. Not really up to much that would be of interest to the Forum Goers I imagine. But here's what I've been doin':
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ovbyn1Sa0M - boss fight that terribly annoyed me, finally won (Ten minutes tho eesh)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiDu4P7ktoU - beating up my own monsters hah
Love how the game gave you the option to take your monsters and fight them like you were battling a friend or someone over WiFi, fun addition.

We're not getting any weather, which kinda sucks since I want it to rain :/

when one feels like ones life is not worth living one could give up or do the brave thing and find out how to get out of the pit and work on it.

real complaint to me. i went to Starbucks and ordered a ham and Swiss breakfast sandwich assuming that it would be just ham and Swiss. started to eat it and what i thought was a big chunk of cheese did not have a cheesy flavor i realized it was not cheese but fried egg. i cannot return it nor do i want to waste the money i spent to get it. no one wants a partially eaten sandwich. i wanted a breakfast sandwich but forgot those tend to have egg. i am not allergic to egg but not a fan of eating it.

Tuesday, happy St. Patrick's day and all that rot. :blank: No thanks on any green beer.

Well, the router at the hotel finally died, and the guy at the desk was clueless about when it will get fixed. So, it's to to prep to move in two weeks so I can stop putting up with this sort of thing. I have the place I want to go in mind and will be dropping in to check it out on my way home Friday. Just need to put enough cash on the credit card to make the deposit, and then find a change-of-address card.

It's further out from the city but closer to work and food, there's a Sonic right next door with a little sheltered outdoor eating area.. great for Spring and Summer snack times! :cheese: But even if you're only moving 2 suitcases, moving is a pain in the butt.

Bank run today so I can buy some Irish beer on the way home. Probably going to work on music and/or play more Total Annihilation. Nuked the crap out of my foe last night, so pretty explosions! :snake:

Rain and chill tomorrow, low 42F and high 50F, the nice by Friday. Should be a nice weekend to get out! :)

    the sun is nowhere today.

don't know how to tell excel a column is for hex numbers, not text.
i remember how to do 8 bit binary conversions, can't remember base hex math.
sometimes rgb numbers are in hex. hsv works it's way in there somewhere.

    i need a cookie.
