sitting at the kitchen table can be esspensive

Mimic for ca works well but I can't figure out how to convert the non linear bits to keyframes. Maybe you just can't ? :)

I have Mimic for Carrara, but haven't tried it out yet. You may get the answer you seek if you ask in the Carrara Discussion forum.

...you mean LDP-R I take it. Almost bought it but then saw on a thread it required a 2D app for merging all the layers together. It seemed more like a fusion of the old LDP and MoodMaster together. Still miss the original LDP2. Was so easy to set up and rendered nicely, also had really beautiful skydomes (including an add on called Azure Skies).

Of course with the Advanced Ambient and Distant Lights I can get that lovely LDP2 quality in a fraction of the render time, and they do work in 4.8, just have to uninstall, re-download and reinstall them.

Colour and Vignette Camera settings for the Atmospheric Cameras are still a borked though (but the Depth Camera works).

...bugger, all of this week's freebies are either textures for clothing content I don't have as well as magnet fits for the V4 Reby Sky, (which I don't have either).

Usually there are have been least 3 - 4 items I could DL. Not this week.

Hope TroutFace's place get's their wireless fixed.

Oh, boogers. Just found out I have to file income taxes this year. Made too much money. :-S

Normally my Social Security income isn't taxed and my other income sources don't even come close to the filing minimum so I don't have to file tax forms. However, last year I received a small inheritance from my stepmother. I still don't have to file Federal tax forms but I do for NY State. Oh, snot! :coolmad: I just turned over my massive tax information (four numbers) each on separate official looking forms to my friendly neighborhood accountant tax person and said to do it, call me when it's ready and I'll sign it and pay it. Mumble... grumble... :-/

Yeah, you're kind of stuck. Kind of a misleading name isn't it? I mean, when you talk about a light dome in Carrara, it could be a replicated array of lights to simulate skylight, or an HDRI. In Poser or Studio, it could imply an HDRI or a product similar to a sky dome. I don't think it would have occurred to me either that it was a set of basic lights for Studio coupled with PS actions. To be fair to Dreamlight, it does describe the PS elements in the product description, although when someone says realtime adjustment of lighting effects and such, I generally think it is in the 3D program, and not an image editor.

I just checked my spam box and saw something about QuickBooks something needs to be updated. I do not remember using Quickbooks nor do I know exactly what QuickBooks is.

Which is probably why it is dumped into your spam folder. Most good email providers have built in spam filters.

It's accounting software - someone probably phishing for info because it's late tax season. Better to be rid of the spam.

QuickBooks is an accounting package. Like "Quicken" or "Microsoft Money". It used to come pre-installed on some computers as one of those freebies or trials.

If you don't know what it is you haven't used it. Don't let it update.

If you check your "Installed Programs" list and it's not there, then you definitely don't want to have anything to do with that "update" notice.

emptied the spam box. I think that is why I went to the spam box to empty it, but now that is done.

I do not have Quickbooks or any software starting with the letter Q in my start menu so I do not need to update it.
    Thanks everyone.

I tried to use one of those finance management applications a couple of times but they seemed overly complicated for my technically oriented brain, and not an exact fit to my life situation.

After I retired though I had to find some way to keep track of my miniscule income so that I wouldn't overspend. I forced myself to learn how to use a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Office "Excel" It started out as a simple one page budget. Then as I learned more about how spreadsheets worked I kept adding features. I added a separate page for each month that details each cash or check or credit card transaction then automatically summarized those onto a summary page. Then added automatic tables and graphs for my automobile miles per gallon.

I keep track of my credit card balances, limits, and links to the on-line websites for the banks just by clicking on my spreadsheet.
I automatically carry over balances from the previous year into a new copy of the spreadsheet.
I have automatically calculated "Totals" columns, "Averages" columns, and "Over/under budget" columns. Since I started this method I haven't bounced a check, my balances are always kept accurate to the penny, and I sleep at night.

It's grown into a monster but it's exactly the information I wanted to know. Perhaps I could have done it with Quicken or QuickBooks or MS Money but those apps kept changing every year and you had to keep buying new versions. My personalized spreadsheet is mine and it's customized just for me, by me, and doesn't cost me a penny because I use the free "OpenOffice:Calc" spreadsheet from www.OpenOffice.org

...three hours to go before the National Championship.

To some may not matter, but for this old "Badger", it has been a long, and somewhat heartbreaking, time to finally get back there.

Two teams enter, one team cuts down the nets.

    Go Badgers!
