I ate at the new "Five Guys" burger joint in town today. I'd never been to one before and thought I'd try it. Great hamburger but I made the mistake of ordering the Cajun Fries. I ordered a small burger and small fries and water. After a few minutes I get this brown paper bag big enough to fit around a 5 pound bag of sugar and it's FULL of fries. I tried to move a few aside to reach inside to get my burger but discovered that the fries went all the way down and the burger was apparently snuggled in one corner of the bag. >:(

OK, I says... Let's get smart and just tear the bag open a bit and put some of those fries onto a couple of napkins I'd spread on the table. So I tear down the side of the bag and these hot greasy potato thingies covered with flakey fly-away hot pepper grit explodes open onto the table and the napkin quickly became a soggy stain and dissolved into the fries. I frantically tried to scoop some of those fries back toward the center of the table but then discovered that that flakey fly-away hot pepper grit had leaped the vast chasm between the table and my new clean shirt and was clinging by electrostatic charge. My hands by this time were covered in grease and pepper grit. I discovered this fact, much to my dismay, when I tried to brush the pepper grit from my shirt. :-S

All I wanted was a "small" (read that as "few", "a little bit", "not many") fries with some peppery taste to try to at least attempt to pay homage to my diet.

OK, so now the bag has finished dumping its fries onto the table, dissolved the napkin, stained my shirt, burned my fingers and finally exposed my hamburger. Which, once I'd found it, turned out to be excellent, by the way! %-P

I caught the eye of the manager and spoke with him and recited the story of the exploding fry bag and said that I thought I'd been singled out for some giant (but unwanted) favor for some reason or another. He replied "oh, that's the way we do it here. Lots of fries!"

    Oy! :grrr:

    ...

Agreed, the current choice of emoticons is numerous but redundant. We need a good "cry", or "sad", or "wicked", or "twisted" or "impatient" or "DOH!" or "uh.. duh", or "$ca-ching$", or "good on ya mate", or ...

    - Have to make bank run in the rain
    - Breakfast was a leftover 1/2 enchilada

Three Dog Night was very good. I have a lot, if not all, of their albums on vinyl. Even 7 Separate Fools, which had giant playing cards depicting each of them as a Joker...I think. Their harmonies were great!

Tony Orlando and Dawn were very pop, I wasn't really into pop much.

I don't notice a difference in 3 Musketeers, I've always liked that candy bar.

    Are you on a 3's kick? :)

Time to go eat, then I have some errands to run.

the big 3 decision i always get stuck on,

2 crisp tacos and one soft? or 2 soft tacos and 1 crispy?

sometimes get 6 just to avoid the cosmic question
