    I think maybe Knock Three Times...was that them? Like I said, not a big pop fan.

    Did you have a fire? Vinyl doesn't melt that easily! Maybe if you have it in a hot car for a few hours. But it shouldn't melt in your apartment.

    huddled around a latte for warmth

    today's the day to come to terms with rendering and ppi.

    i understand inches and dpi to find the pixel dimensions.

    but starting with the dimensions and then setting ppi? i just don't get it.

    Turned off my computer to open it to count how many ram slots I have. 6 is what I found out but only five are being used.

    PPI doesn't have any meaning for a digital image -- depending on your screen dimensions and resolution, the image could be 20 inches wide or 5 inches wide. It only has meaning when you print the image.

    if i'm starting to understand ppi correctly, ppi is device dependent, so is no point to setting it in the image

    each kindle has a different res and ppi. guess ... i should render for the largest size?


    the big kindle takes a bigger image than the printed version.

    Right, at a complete loss here and no amount of searching has brought up anything remotely relevant to this problem.

    So, a week back I was watching an artist stream his drawing on Picarto (Basically a Livestream-like site) and the video was almost entirely without color. I thought it was something on his end at the time, until the next day when I went to Rooster Teeth's website and watched a video - it was also entirely without color.

    YouTube's videos were colorless as well, and in AMD's control center there's nothing out of the ordinary - all settings are at default (And the video preview in that is colorless too)


    The only videos NOT displaying this behavior are the ones I have saved to my computer. I don't know what's causing this and searching doesn't bring up anything helpful. Example of what I'm experiencing below - Video Preview Thumbnail? Full color. Skipping to a specific part of video? Shows in full color. Video itself? No color.

    Guess it was indeed a Flash Player problem, and so no amount of poking in AMD was gonna fix it. :)

    Complaint: work is insane. Just now taking a break. Tired, brain hurts, need beers. Still 2 more hours before I can leave. *cry*

    Non-complaint: I bought a small "sling backpack" to carry when I'm not grocery shopping or moving, and it's wonderful! Holds my diabetes gear, a water bottle, lunch, my Android tablet, and still enough space to stuff in 2-3 small groceries. And it's so easy to deal with! :cheese:

    Might swap out my old tablet for a refurb Galaxy Note 8.. that S-Pen would sure be nice, could be smart..

    From what I understand, the subscription continues until the expiration date of your membership. In other words, the subscription doesn't end early. Check the expiration date under your account -> Platinum Club page.
