I think this is the best price I've seen for LineRender9000!![laugh laugh](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
Snatched it right up.
And for those who don't already own Mesh Grabber... that tool is absolutely essential, you guys.
are they on sale or something?
BYO fastgrab
PARTY70 up to 5 items from
https://www.daz3d.com/build-your-own-fast-grab#order=popular^1&filtered=1
...well that flash sale ended while I was still asleep. so guess I have to hope for one more ketchup sale. Would have gone for it had they not changed the refund policy.
At least people in other parts of the world are able to get in on extra discounts which is a good thing.
I took a very quick look and yeah, totally didn't understand it.
I'll have to sit down and read the manual more properly, and perhaps ask the folks over at the non-photorealistic thread.
Worst case I ask for a refund.
Not saying it's bad or anything, but I'm just a simple illustrator who's mostly inept at computers except for a couple of art apps! Logged into my laptop and found the FAQ thread for those who might be interested in it. I agree, it's a good deal right now, and the DAZ Deals extension agrees.
I grabbed FaceGen today with the sale as the $41.70 price is the lowest it's been in a year. TBH, I've been playing around with it this evening and have been somewhat disappointed. Used my own head as the 'test subject' and, once applied, the G8M's head looked like it had been fished out of a canal after a week (I'm not quite that hideous!). I've got FaceTransfer and was hoping for better results with the more expensive product, but even at $40 I'm having second thoughts. Oh well. There's always another sale...
I consider that one can make many a character easily with Facegen, for all the Genesis' clans in one project. I put a check in the box for round eyes. [it helps]
this is confusing
Use Coupon Code DAZ-O-DEAL to get up to 3 Items for a total of $9*
so if it's a total of $9 why would you buy anything but 3?
I think there are some much better offers today. I've wanted Bambina 8 for a while, and she is 75% off![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
If anyone wants to see DD Saga, Keres, or Azuri in motion check https://www.tiktok.com/@disparatedreamer?lang=en
I've been learning to animate them and it's a blast.. bit of a learning curve but I love it :)
Anyone else having the coupon come up as not valid? I've tried it in Firefox and Opera, no luck.
it has to be from this selection
https://www.daz3d.com/choose-your-daz-deal
That's where my three came from. i've sign out, cleared data and cache, signed back in but still no luck.
OK translation
up to 3 things for $3 each
I bought 2 for $6
And no problem with the coupon?
nup, it worked on my choices
maybe show what you chose? should not have any other discounts if in that selection
I realise it doesn't help you, but the code worked for me, (used it on all 3 items) so for $9
I have a second daz account that I started when PC+ for a Day was giving problems a while back, just to see if it was my main account that was the problem. And it was. And it is again. The coupon was accepted with the second account. Oh joy oh bloody rapture. I don't know whether to buy them using that account or not.
Code worked for me.
I went Mad again. I bought another set of the 10 for 2.99 each, and a set of 3 for $3 each, and a 65% off storewide item (a plant bundle by a PA) that was in my wishlist.
And so Daz3D succeeded. For a few years now, I have used the 'gift card to self' strategy to manage my Daz budget. I went over my March Madness budget this year. I blame the release timing of the UltraScenery add-on and the RSSY turbo loader, not my own lack of self-discipline.
Parmy has recently posted a YT tutorial on linerender9000:
Haven't watched this one myself, though.
Sounds like you did well. Congrats. I just limited myself to the 3 for $9 - oh and a number of extremely cheap mad artist products. I don't know why but the $0.89 stuff I usually get for $0.70 came in at $0.63 today. Mad eh?
what gets me is that DAZ Deals shows past pricing ... even when something appears to be within your discount range, and you see it for $3 less just 2 weeks ago, it makes you pause, especially when the items were on Grab Bag at $3.49 when they had the last catch-up. Now, will DAZ have a huge catch-up sale with ALL Grab Bag items or just the ones since the last catch-up? Most of my wishlist items are now on sale, from 55- 70+ % off. Grab or not? Plus 20% off a GC makes everything more attractive.
It is not working fior me either. I have found that there was a DAZ O DEAL coupon offer on 29 May 2019. So, we may have used the coupon then and that may be the problem.
Overall this March Madness has been meh IMO. A couple decent (not outstanding as we've seen 24-25% off past years) gift card sales, the Grab Bag catchup halfway thru the month, and todays 65% off fabolous items (75%+ off stacked with the Daz+) have been the only deals I've found worth pulling the trigger on. There have been a couple flash sales where we could get 70% off Daz originals but once again it wouldn't stack with the DAZ+ discount per the fine print. Automatic pass for me when they block stacking of the DAZ+ discount, which seems to happen more and more these days.
It's bloody annoying what ever the bloody reason is. I hope they fix it before it expires.
Yeah, I'm trying to resist the urge to be Judgey McJudgerson about it, having used it for a whopping total of four hours (off and on, no less). I was hoping that the ability to physically mark landmarks on the face (corners of eyes, etc.) would fix the common problem Face Transfer has of creating morphs with crooked facial features. Instead, it feels like the subject photo has to be even more passport-like to be able to generate a reasonable morph.
I did notice last night that FaceGen is also able to create new morphs from existing OBJs, so I've been experimenting with (1) Using FaceTransfer to create the initial morph; (2) exporting that head as an OBJ; (3) Importing that OBJ into FaceGen to correct any issues with lopsided eyes, etc.; (4) exporting as a morph; (5) playing with the FaceTransfer and FaceGen dials on a fresh Gen8 figure. It's certainly not the solution I thought FaceGen would provide, especially at this price point.
Oh well.
By the way, everyone, how does Daz handle returns? I know the mechanics of it, but... how can I show, or how do they know, that I've actually 'returned' a product and no longer have it on my computer?
I'm not sure that they do know unless they happen to see you used it in a render that you post. It is largely just a matter of trust.
The cuurrent code is DAZ-O-DEAL, not DAZ O DEAL
