...just for fun, for this last Ketchup sale I clicked the Show only Owned filter for the grab bag sale was quite surprised at some or the items they had which I already owned. that I had previously purchased over the past months/years.
Overall, a rather nice selection considering I am not an impulse buyer (and why I couldn't find 10 items at once to get the 2.99$ price).
Wonder if this will go through Sunday or only tomorrow, Again, I have to be somewhere tomorrow and won't get back until evening to snap up any last minute deals . Need to turn in early tonight as well.
No real Interactive License sale anymore ... Will Interactive License ever be discounted again down to $5 , $8 , $10 ?
And I was hoping to see even lower prices to add many ... at least bring back the old discounts so I could buy some otherwise they are just too expensive. I would have bought more when there were the real discounts at cheap prices...
I didn't buy anything from the MM sale - A few items early on that were not really part of the sale. Maybe if I hadn't bought computer parts? No. Even that's not it. This sale didn't woo me at all. I've had a feeling of ennui about buying content since January 2021. I'm interested to see what happens for sales later in the year. Maybe something will pop for me, or maybe not...
I have a banner offer for "an extra10% off your purchases all weekend long".
There are the usual exclusions - but it also doesn't include the Grab Bag items.
i was hoping the $5 from the survey would appear in the balance, but not yet. its listed in the list of credits, but balance is 0.00 its almost 2 grab bag items.
I'm with everyone who was hoping for an interactive license sale: I also have a bunch of products I'd like to get interactive licenses for, just in case, it makes me feel much-much better and I was making sure to get them for all the products I was buying. Very much to the point of looking at something, must-have-liking it, then noticing there is no interactive license available, no buy then but add to the wishlist to check later. Next month look again - no such license, wait more. Interestingly I found great products where after 6-8 months of waiting interactive licenses became available so I bought those products intending to get licenses on sale.
Looking at grab bags during MM I'm now thinking 'if I buy 10, I'll get a discount of $10 and a further discount using a coupon to bring the total discount to $16. And then interactive licenses will be around $200. Given that I do not intend to use these interactive licenses anytime soon, no grab bags for me and I stay with products I have now'.
I didn't expext another day, but i guess it is time to utter a big THANKYOU to everybody, who gave away his or her products to the grab bag (over 2000 items) and other MM sales :-)
Well, the leprechaun, his clothing, the St Paddy props, Modern Duckie, Submarine Corridor Kit, Kitsune Garden, & Yatai Corner all went on sale at great prices so I managed to use my $5 survey & my DAZ+ coupons this month. MM is now a success for me.
This really has been March Sadness. I barely spent anything. Good going Daz! LOL! My money account is happy though.
That's what I was thinking... and then I just went and spent more, elsewhere. Well, almost saved money...
Can't say it was a poor sale for me considering how much I spent, however WHAT I spent on completely changed from previous sales.
While previously I couldn't resist impulse purchases, I made very few of those this time, focusing instead on items that were my radar.
I'm not buying bundles anymore. While previously I used to jump on most of them, the new ones have nothing going for them. Less content, higher prices, more filler and useless items, worhtless side deals and no freebies (or pre g3 DazOs on rare occasions).
Well I did spend much but also focusing on just a couple of offers:
- Had 4 catch-up rounds of Mad Grab, 3 of them rather big.
- Besides those I bought only new releases I might use quite often like the Turbo Loader, the Projection Manager and the Wet and Tanned Skins.
- Some Daz+ stuff.
- The Leprechaun Bundle, the Vana PA Bundle plus the three single items from the Sweet Chaoz bundle. Did probably not get the bundle to use the items as buy-in.
We'll see what DAZ is up to in April but I guess my current store credit will hold some more weeks.
I'd like to see Interactive Licenses back to $5 , $8, $10 discounted prices soon. If I knew that they would have been not discounted as much during the March Madness sale I would have bought more before.
