You just live too far west, for me the Daz midnight is at 9AM
I picked up Radioactive bundle with the 90% off sci to promo last week. Probably the only one that didn't require a New or "__ New" release. (Much less several like today's.) It also got me the current Daz+ freebie.**
Probably that will be my buying strategy until work starts picking up again: take advantage of the least-costly promos that don't have a trigger and the odd small store credits.
**For those who didn't know, non-members can get the Daz+ weekly & monthly freebie for free with any purchase. One purchase triggers both free.
Sorry, I should have said where to find those if you weren't a member

Aren't we getting tired of lingerie? I, for example, very, very rarely render people in their underwear.
I often do pinups and even I'm sick of lingerie especially when it's G9 only and it's easy to autofit lingerie from ANY generation prior because tight things autofit well. I thought the whole point of G9 was that it could "be anything." And with all the issues with makeup, nipples and navels, the last thing G9 should be is a pinup model.
Yes, indeed. Plus no orange banner for owning all of the offered Daz Original Genesis 8 Bundles offered for 'free'. DAZ has made it very easy for me to pass on this weeks bundle "deal".
And its only starter bundles so you still would have to buy pro variant at some point. Would prefer if it was pro bundle with extra 10 bucks or something. As it is... PASS.
Yep, same here. Would love more business casual options actually.
Clothes from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s would be nice as well as more current evryday and business items
As if the store didn’t have enough lacy lingerie to choke an elephant already. But I would’ve been mightily surprised if it was anything else. You can expect some more for Mother’s Day.
On the other hand, B.E.T.T.Y. Be My Valentine is really nice.
Everyday clothing that look like they have been used and are used doing everyday chores like gardening. ie. used, worn and a little stained without being bloodsoaked...
The kind of clothing ordinary people (not celebs, high society or wannabees) would use for warmth, cover and protection, not to show off.
Very tired. It seems more abundant than ever. It makes it easy to skip it all today.
flash sale..3.99 or 2.49 if you buy a new release over $10. For somebody spendy that might be OK, but that requires of 7 items to break even after the 10 bucks spent ... I pretty much quit buying stuff that requires a buy in like that.
The one's I looked at had been $1.99 several times before, so $2.49 after $10 buy in is not even a bargain. It's another offer to skip for me, even though I did buy a new item over $10 (esha's chain necklaces).
Yeah... But it got me the Celebrity Trailer which I was looking at in Angela 9 Bundles, cart total was $27.71 (-85%)
Very much the same here, on all accounts. Have skipped the last few sales as well, because the things I'd really want mostly just aren't being offered, and I've got soooooo much of the 'don't know, might need it one day' variety already I could drown in it. Plus bags and heaps of underwear that I mostly didn't even choose to buy but were included in a bundle or a freebie. Sadly though it seems that the 'gimme knickers' crowd still holds sway here very much ...
...besides lingerie how about a moratorium on Japanese schoolgirl dresses for a while (though I'm sure with G9 we'll see many more).
I agree, with more "everyday" clothes with shirts/blouses for the ladies that tucks into or lays over the waist of the slacks or skirt instead of leaving the belly bare. I also find it frustrating when there are nearly identical male and female clothing sets but the female one always has to be low cut to show cleavage. or not have a "button/zip up"
Maybe there are people who can't differentiate between male and female clothing otherwise?
In the end DAZ will produce what sells and if lingerie keeps outselling other clothes then it is what it is. Personally I would love to see more decent workclothes for various jobs.
I think it is also a factor of return on investment. A number of PAs have said that tight fitting lingerie is one of the easiest (and therefore) quickest clothing assets that can be produced. So you are looking at a pretty good return on not a huge amount of time. Some of the garments people here wish for, particularly complicated period pieces would require a lot more effort to do them properly, and the total sales compared to lingerie will at best to comparable, and at worse, actually lower.
Yes! Longer shirts I would love to see more of. The clients I have are all business-minded that if there's just a tad too much cleavage, I can't use something in a project. I can't use or kitbash half the stuff I get here because of all the mid-drifts and excessive cleavage.
What is super frustrating when the shirt has half a dozen boob-reveal morphs but not a single button-up one.
Very much agree! I also don't really understand why the vendors don't think to include just one simple, like, 'modesty morph' in their cleavagey clothes by default. I mean, if it's okay for them to make all these dozens of undress-morphs, it would clearly not add much to the work load to make just one morph more. Plus, it would effectively increase the audience.
...however many here who would rather see more "basic" everyday and period clothing usually don't purchase every set of lingerie content that appears in the store as not everyone is into doing sexy pinups..
...
I fully agree!
With all the buy ins requireing purchase of today's uninteresting new releases, I am definitely not impressed with the offerings in today's "Bundle Weekend" promo. I guess it is time to save my pennies for another day.
There are two new products in the store:
FPE Blush Effect Geoshell for Genesis 8 and 8.1 is offered for $17.49 (normal price: $24.99)
and
FPE Blush Effect Geoshell for Genesis 9 is offered for $15.39 (normal price: $21.99)
I don't get the difference in price. They are both geoshell products, so I don't see how one would have been harder to create than the other. Does the higher price indicated an expected higher demand? I wonder why they are priced so different.
G8 & G8.1 is more work as male and female are separate. And even more as the UV of G8 is different than G8.1, although they here might switch G8.1 to G8 UV for the geoshell.
