Wanted to share this set of gorgeous jewelry. Lots of options for the metal and gemstones. Regal Jewelry for G8F.
I just put a ticket in for Izanami G3/G8 character (her eyelashes aren't fit properly on teh G8 load) and i noticed a heap of new options in the ticket submit. There's a space to put in a coupon number if that's what you are having issues with, and there's a sales ticket tracker with a dropdown where you choose exactly what the problem is (dupllicate charge, email change, return product with no error, close accoutn etc) and a tech ticket tracker with another dropdown. Very interesting. Would make it a lot easier to streamline requests and send them to relevant people just based on choices, instead of a subject line that may not make sense, or having to read a full request just to know where to send it.
Someone had asked about the FSL Rigged Lights and props. I have some similar items that I used with it to create this image. The light projection system is similar to a GOBO and can be used for some interesting shots.
I used prop #8 for the plane. And, turne it at right angle and set it to have clouds of which I bouned the light projection system off. Still trying different shots with the combination.

Yes. I think the new required information is one of the reasons requests for refunds when the freebie eats part of the coupon are resolved in a couple of hours now. I like it.

Heads up on the iRadiance product. It's been mentioned elsewhere but in a nutshell the description says:

I've bought a handful of items during march madness, but so far, I've tested a few of them, and oddly- I don't like them. The problem with returns during this type of sale is it will affect your price of items you choose to keep.
I am tempted by the outdoor shower and the realistic interior barracks. The promo art with George as the sergeant amuses me.

The Align tool works pretty good. I've been using it to create nodes of items in this image I created 2 groups of 30 items each based on the 1 ship. Then I used the alight tool to get ships information. After in formation can move and do additional adjustments to individuals and to the entire group. I use it for lots of things with the multile variations of docking left/right X,Y,Z etc. Not a ton of documentation. But, just open up a project and try lots of things.
I'm pretty impressed with the detail in Alexandra's HD addon.
Maybe it's because she's "older," but I like to think Daz paid attention when so many of us were saying the HD addons for the females were a waste of money, as they didn't provide much in extra details. I don't have Alexandra yet, though I expect I'll pick her up sometime when the price is too good to pass up. I went ahead and got the HD addon. And not knowing if and when there'd be a good opportunity to use the monthly coupon, I applied it to this order.
Now I get to find out how well the old Point of Impact product from The Antfarm works in Iray, as I'm loathe to waste even 72¢ of a coupon, and I needed a second qualifying item to get the best discount on the Auto Paver script.
Not so sure about that I knew some awfully big fat lookin NCO's when I served granted a number of them were paper pushers but not all of'em

I think you will see much less difference if you compare Alexandra with normal maps ON to Alexandra HD. I believe the promos compare her without her normal maps to the HD. The normal maps add almost as much definition as the HD in my experience with other characters. For example, here is her elbow without normal maps and with normal maps. (Lighting my not be optimum, but you can see the effect.) I didn't purchase the Alexandra HD, even though it was dirt cheap. I just don't need it. Normal maps are good enough for my use.
