Another interesting character, https://www.daz3d.com/kwan-8-and-aliens-vs-troopers a sci-fi based character bundle, and some extras for Kayo 8.. So my guess Kwan 8 is the male counterpart for Kayo 8.. Some of the items do look good, and getting a Warhammer 40K or Gears of War type vibe from some of the items.. :)
Interestingly there is no starter or pro bundle for this character just a bundle, and thinking back this package reminds me of Scott 6.. ;)

Got a purple banner for owning 2 Kayo 8 items, so Kwan is definitely the counterpart for Kayo 8.
(The actual discount hasn't hit the store properly, so I'll have to see what the actual price is. However, the bundle looks great. Both bundles. Sci Fi? Humans versus Aliens? This is my kind of thing for sure.)
No purple banner for me at all as I do t own the Kayo bundle. This is interesting - I wonder if this is the future of pro bundles?

Kwan's bundle doesn't seem to be a traditional pro bundle, he's probably inexorably tied to Kayo, which is why there's no banner unless you own Kayo or her related content. I don't have one either, but then I don't own Kayo.
Same thing here Sci-Fi is one of my more favourite genre's..
If Kayo 8's bundle were Sci Fi rather than Wrestling, I am positive Kayo 8 would have sold more. And I LIKE Wrestling.
I don't have Kayo 8 HD (I rarely buy HD add-ons these days).
I suspect I might have gotten a deeper discount if I also owned that one.
Also, the free bundles with this? They are different than the usual "free bundle" offers, which is a good thing. Pretty crazy deal for the big bundle. I'll wait for the store to get everything right before I make any final decisions, however.

Think I'll need to wait for the store to settle. I've got the Aliens vs troopers bundle in the cart, and three of the secondary bundles are showing free, but the other isn't.

The Kwan 8 Trooper Bundle as well as the Alien vs Troopers Bundle both list the Anatomical Elements in "What's Included".

Wow... Kwan is pretty much exactly the East Asian male character that I was hoping for but didn't think DAZ would ever make. Very cool!
Will be interesting to see, what kind of renders people will do with the bundle,

Hell I wish they would communicate a bit more.
So will be Kwan 8 only be available in this sci-fi theme bundle combination or will there be a separate Kwan 8 Pro bundle as well.
Does anyone knows something about that? Otherwise I'll wait for the pro bundle to see what's in there.
How did you get the price down to $58? Got the two items banner for an extra 30% but thats still $68.
Quite a lot of bundles. The Kwan 8 Trooper bundle makes no sense to me as there is no special discount and everything is included in the Aliens vs. Troopers Bundle. The Kayo 8 Tropper Returns Bundle is nicely discounted but has only two products I do not have already for a $15 - with those also part of the Aliens vs Troopers. The Alien Enemy Bundly has mostly environments and props, is rather expensive at $40 and also covered with the Aliens vs Troopers Bundle.
There's not many free Bundles I do not already own but as I was able to find at least four a little interesting that I do not have yet I might get the Alien vs Trooper. Wanted to keep some credit for Herschel Hoffmeyers next release so skipping and just going for the Trooper Returns could also be an option. Damn decisions.
I'm now interested, though 100 bucks is a bit steep for the bundle I want considering no banner discount I guess all those pro bundles I have bought don't mean squat in this case... I'll have to think about this one for a bit.
There apparently are other purple banner offers handed out today...
Always nice to see that these purple banners don't go to people NOT having spent much as an incentive to spend more... so I get to keep (a bit more of) my money instead of giving (even more of) it to DAZ (when the deal would look sweeter for me).
Oh, and what's with the Modern Military Texture Pack being marked as "((Inactive>>rolled intobase))"? And where does all that shebang with additional straps and grenades and suchlike in the promo pictures come from? Doesn't seem to be included in the Modern Military Outfit or is it?

Pretty much same for me. No discounts whatsoever and I too have almost all of the G8 line. A little discount would have been nice. Just saying. :)
It's not indluced in the base Modenr Military Outfit no... *sigh* I assume it's part of the so called "texture" pack but there's nothing in there saying it contains anything else than texture (Which I might add is the same textures as already in the base product)
Yeah, me too. I like what's in the Alien v Trooper bundle, but the incentive to buy is 4 free sets, from a selection of starter sets where I already own the Pro sets, or G2 and earlier stuff which I don't use. Pity, it looks a good deal otherwise.
I love new male characters, not been tempted since I bought Ollie 8.
I really like everything about the bundle, I love sci-fi and although I don't need any more male characters, I really like him, he looks unique. The price I got in cart was $68, which I guess is right but will wait to see if it goes down in the morning,

I have bought the Kayo 8 Pro Bundle before which triggered the 30%/65% banner.
But the HD Morph for Kayo 8 is also available since then and is part of the Return- and the Vs-Bundle.
So probably folks who already bought that one do get a "you own already 3 items"-banner with a better discount.
This is a good bundle, if you ask me, which I know no one did :P. I mean, it has everything you need to do a scene, even a story. A handful of nice unique characters, an alien (which could be a villan, a friend, or a new discovery) a pair of outfits/armor that match between genders, a couple extra outfits (again for friends of villans) a nice rifle to arm your sci-fi troopers, environments to set a stage, and some more sci-fi props to round out the scene. And to that you get four extra bundles for free! Granted I like sci-fio stuff the most, so I may be biased, but this one is pretty nice if you ask me. Granted I bought Kayo, so I get an extra discount, and I'm glad the big bundle comes with her HD morph, was on the fence about it and ended up passing, but hey, there you go.
The only thing I wish is that there was a discount on buying the bundles and the Abandoned Outpost. I really like that, but not sure I want to drop the money on it along side the big bundle. That's a lot of scratch. I'll sleep on it and see what I feel like in the moring, but I'm sure that I'll end up going for the Aliens vs. Troopers bundle.
I do find it odd though that Kwan's bundle is short a few products for the same price as a pro bundle. Seams he's missing a hair and pose pack, I feel he shouldn't be that high, or should have had those extra few products.
right now, i'm tearing my hair out. Kwan and Haru are so awesome, i want them, i need them, my life is worth nothing without them - and i'm flatbroke (srsly, i have 2 5$ food coupons until 30.7)! aaaaarghhhhh! this sucks so bad, it's one of those moments where i throw all antimaterialistic thoughts in the wind and just wish i had a lot of $$$$. how many bits of soul can i sell for a 100$ daz GC?
anyways, they are pure awesome <3 - with Wufei and Chayton, who i'm really been waiting for impatiently, i'm gonna ruin myself as soon as i get paid.
and i really appreciate that 1) great male models (tho i must say recently, there has been a lot of effort to create many good male figures), and 2) Asian males, yay.
question: i quite like Tamati too, he's gonna be of the party too! i was wondering, could he pass easily for a Thai? it's what i thought he was first, before realizing the name wasn't really, and then the tats... and then reading the blurb, lol.
Strange that the Sci-Fi Abandoned Outpost has no artist listed, not even Daz Original. Somebody feeling shy?
