The store has plenty of Jedi content (laser swords, or whatnot), so you never know what will stick and what will not stay in the store.
There were sufficient bundles that I did not have to make 7 free a rather good offer, but that will vary considerably from person to person, of course.
Precisely. The banner says "Because you're a loyal Genesis 8 Pro Bundle Collector", which is exactly the issue. It's a very generous offer, but it's precisely because I'm a loyal Genesis 8 Pro Bundle collector (and G3 before that) that this offer isn't worth anything. I own pro versions of all the starter bundles already, with the exception of the Manga type stuff which I don't use. I don't use G2 or earlier stuff either.
C'mon guys, I like the bundle, and I've got the $97 right here - just give me a decent excuse to spend it.
From what i read that is already owning kayo 8 items from 2 weeks ago. $40 discount for owning 3/4 items of today's kayo bundle, is actually and incredible discount considering that bundle cost 44 alone.

I was curious, I own all the Pro Bundles and with that Kayo 8. I just checked my messages, I have two offers for today and only one shows up on my main screen. I did buy Kwan 8, by purchasing the Alien vs. Troopers Bundle, which gave me the best discount of all the various combinations. Anyone who like him, but is passing him up today for cash flow issues, or the offer, keep the faith. By the fall or winter sales, the bundles will most likely be free and you will be ahead of me. I have rendered all three of the men and I am working on the alien now. I am very impressed.
Yeah, bundles offered for free are picked over a bit for me. But, I found some I didn't have that I could use with environments. Or the ballet bundle which for some reason I didn't get, though I had bought the character on her own before.
I do want to alert anyone using the dForce Young Hair for Genesis 8, when I used just the hair by itself on Kwan 8, an artifact appeared during render around the mouth. Be prepare to look for the same issue that appears on the foreheads, and adjust the skull cap one way or another. It doesn't show if you add the beard.
Ahhhh This bundle is right up my alley! And the added incentive of the free bundles is just too much for me to pass up. I love Sci Fi stuff and the characters, outfits, and environments all look phenomenal - I'm really excited to start rendering with these assets! Thank you and great work to all the artists involved!

I agree. I got a ton of stuff, Alien vs Trooper bundle for $58, and 7 for free.
Ok, so slept on it, talked to my mother on the phone about misc stuff (call you mom if you can, not about this stuff but you never know when you won't be able to anymore) took some time to myself before coming back, and nows there's a bonus three extra bundles? Yes please. But what about that outpost? Now it at least has Polish's name on it, but it lost all discounts. I really was hoping that one would have gone down in price, not up :'(.
I guess beggars can't be choosers, but it is just me or does the weirdness of the store seam to be getting worse lately?

Since there seams to be a lack of these this go around here's a few "Out-of-the-Box"s for our new guys. I'm pretty impressed. I did use the HD add-on for Kwan, because it comes with his bundles.
I will admit to a liking for rolling the texture set into the main clothing item. But if this is a sign of things to come, it does mean that there will be a shortage of available "additional items" needed to engage discounts.
We've always needed to purchase additional stuff to engage further discounts, but usually it's things that could concievably be used if you bought the bundle in the first place.
But releasing new bundles just about every week probably means a need for cutting back on how much additional content is going to be available.

Wowa Kwan is fricking ripped
Here is Kwan HD. This is a very nice model, with some excellent skin, and a very realistic look and build. his face is very nice. Overall, I like him!

Also, possibly going to pick up the base guy, but this deal was not a tasty one and my pocketbook is very tight atm, so this is the first iconic I am missing out on in a long, long while.
It can only be a guess, of course, but I think what happened was that the person from whom this texture was made was also a very muscular person. And judging from the way people are posed at, for example, 3d.sk, what happened is that he was posed with his arms to the side in a T-shape, or hanging down at his side, and maybe even out front ... but he's so muscular that it wasn't enough to make the deep groove go away and present a smooth surface to the camera. And since Tamati is also hypermuscular, normally that would be fine ... except that somehow, for some reason, that groove is off center. So instead of falling right on the spine where you wouldn't notice, it's off to the side, where it calls attention to itself.
No idea why it wasn't edited out, though. Maybe they thought it wouldn't call attention to itself the way it does.
Haru is a very cute, extremely realistic looking figure, with a great physique and nice muscular bod. He includes bodypaint, bodyhair, and a tattoo option. He is very versatile so he can look like a wrestler or the guy next door. Or the wrestling guy next door... LOL
Since there is some discussion about Tamati, I decided to render two of them so his back (spinal scar) could be seen. It is too bad about the mark. This otherwise realistic character is seriously cool, with fine details and a beautiful skin tone. he has a nice face as well... Overall a delight to look at.
The scar/Shoulder/back cleavage is too prominent whatever it is. It looks like something else was once there... But the groove is quite deep. Some wings perhaps? Regardless I hope there is an update to remove it. The rest of the character is awesome.
Okay, so that's the Kwan's. Overall, I can say I really like Kwan! He looks fantastic, and is more realistic than a lot of DAZ store's recent figures. But I am seriously sad there are only 3. Where are the rest? This is the first bundle in a while where there is are no other character add-ons. This is particularly sad, because Kwan 8 is just.... Such an amazing character. Also where is the wrestling content? Not even a singlet? I'm okay with the sci-fi stuff, but... It would be great to at least have one wrestling outfit.
Great job! If you put a backlight on the single shots, they'd pass for photos.

Daz has definitely figured me out. Ive purchased more models in the past 2 months than I have over the course of most full years.
I got one too...for more free bundles. I HAVE the bulk of the bundles I want and giving me more isn't really a perk IMVHO. LOL What I need is a discount, but hey...tomorrow is another day and if not, it has to go on sale sometime ;). I'm just not gonna blow a hundred bucks, even tho I love everything in the bundles mostly. It's just too much of a chunk at once ;). No fault of Daz's.

Yeah - it seems I own 104 of the bundles already - and then I look at the details and there's another 20 or so that I don't own the bundle but do own everything in it. And then another 15 or 20 where I own everything but one item. I scrounged up five items which makes the deal marginally acceptable - but two of the five are only on the list because they'd be free; I'll probably never use them. So I'm going to sit on it overnight - and then probably put all four of the current bundles on the wish list and wait for a better price.
