Well I got a banner for Celani 8 , yet has not shown up in the store. Might as well start the thread!

she looks okay, but with $55 for the pro bundle a bad deal.
Prices probably haven't settled yet after the changeover - the 'free' items aren't free yet in my cart.
Agreed. Pro bundle deals have changed. No longer as good a deal.
Well if you get the purple banner, you get 25 dollars worth of Daz O's free, from each 7 catagories. 150 dollars free might not be too bad. If it tallies out the same as previous bundle deals they have done,
I mean, if at least the free items didn't fall into those unpractical categories... But it's too expensive and it has these categories.
Propably I'll put Celani to my Wishlist. Don't need her urgently and in a half year to a year I'll get her propably as a part of an other pro bundle deal for free.

$15 per category for me, and there isn't anything I want in several categories. So, not much of an enticement...
Hmmm... as noted by others, even with the purple banner increasing the '$10 off' catagories, that's a much steeper climb than previous pro bundles. I guess I'll wait and see if a followup banner shows up. Also, not seeing a 'bonus' discount on the included vendor stores. 40% of is better than nothing I guess...
I think that this is the first time I've seen a vehicle as part of a character pro bundle though! It may have happened before, but I can't think of any examples of this.
I suppose that this may indicate that we have a male 'Mad Max' counterpart incoming shortly? And possibly an update to this outfit?

The outfit(s) that Celeni 8 is wearing in the first promo pic looks vaguely familiar (might be an update of a V4 era outfit) but I'm not placing it... It looks interesting though!
She's beautiful but I'm not sure she adds that much to the gene pool of Monique/Latonya/Darcy. She could have been more distinctive.
Amongst the add-on characters Xolile is the one that truly caught my eye.
Now come Masozi and Dezzi are for G3F and G8F, and Masozi requires a G8F base character and Dezzi doesn't?
If anyone buys these and can compare with Celani dialed in and out I'd be obliged.
Only $15 per catagory for me also and I own all but 1 of the Pro bundles; plus not much discount on Celeni 8 Pro when buying the add-ons. I like Celeni 8 but overall not a good enough deal for me. So, I'll just put her on the wishlist until a better deal comes along.
I'm struggling to find ther best way to approach this deal.
I think it's overkill and TOO MUCH for one sale.
I mean, the add-ons are all heavyweights.
The Pro Bundle doesn't seem as crazy as the Add-ons.
So really, it's about the $15 off in all those categories and the $15 goes pretty quick.

My purple offer says 50% more for those items, $15 total in each category for 4 add-ons. Are you adding the $15 and original $10 together to get $25? I think it's going to be $15 total, unless you got a better purple banner than me. We'll see when the prices settle.
You would get $10 in each cat with 4 add-ons, with the onsite, 50% more makes it $15 per cat.

Post-Apocalyptic is an okay theme, but it's not one that I do. Not in the Mad Max sense, anyway.
The outfits for Celani 8 seem more tantasy/post-apoc. I guess the sci-fi wrasslin was only a temporary thing, and now we're headed back into fantasy-land?
Just thinking back to Genesis 3. Victoria 7 came with a little more daring Post-Apoc outfit (oh no, human skin, the horror), and Gia 7 did the Walking Dead Michonne outfit with the Wall Ranger. Celani 8 is deifnitely not in the same apocalypse as the Wall Ranger, IMO.
If I were more into this theme, maybe I'd be more interested. It's just a lot to buy for only a few things I'd end up using.
I think she's gorgeous and I love the theme but at $76.36 with the cheapest four add-ons she's FAR more expensive than the most recent pro bundles and not one I can afford after buying Aliens vs Troopers. And $15 in each category with the purple banner doesn't actually look like it will go that far?? Or am I missing something? I just looked in one or two categories but most items were $17...
Maybe if we get another purple banner I can join the fun but otherwise I'll have to pass. Boo.

Same here. Love the realse and add-ons, but the deal is not here on this one for me. I've tried every cobination, added and subtracted all the items I want, but still can't find that sweet spot to pull the trigger for purchase that works with my bank account.
Same. I've picked over those DO categories pretty extensively over the past pro bundle sales, and the buy-in is a lot steeper than in previous pro bundle sales. It's that 'buy-in' that I look at the hardest, and the 'final average price' as spread across the paid and free items.
If the categories weren't limited to DO's, it might interest me more, but that's probably not gonna happen. With the last 'DO category' oriented pro bundle sale, well a lot of my choices were more 'filler' than 'must have'
Plus the 'Troopers' sale soaked up my Daz budget for this month, so I don't mind taking a breather. I guess we'll see if a followup banner appears...

Echoing everyone else. Most expensive single character bundle I think I've seen, which is a shame as I like the theme and Celani. And I've picked over the DOs so many times now, there's not much left to tempt me.
I planned to cut back on my spending. This one made it easy.
Free is the wrong term; it's no extra cost.

Yes, sadly a pass as I, too, find the categories slim pickings due to what I already own. But I wanted to post and compliment the vendors in the bundle for very nice work- I love the practical outfits, the vehicle being included, and the nice characters. Huge kudos and I hope enough sales are generated to have been worth your time. It's the marketing, not the products, that may sink this one (if previous posts are any indication, and I agree the price coupled with the same offerings in the sections make it a no-go.)
It's not an additional $15 on top of the ten, it's just fifteen. And most of the items are over fifteen anyway, let alone the ten. You get $105, or in most cases if you manage to squeeze something into the allotted 15 it won't actually be 15, maybe 10 or 11. so you'll likely only be getting maybe a $70 discount, and probably be adding to your final cost out of pocket in the end. Like I will if I decide to pull the trigger on this. Probably won't, even though I like the characters, hair, and that there's cars, props, and environments again. My cart is sitting at $108-and-change right now. Pretty sure I'll end up just dumping it. The bundle will be $37 at some point in the not too distant future, or $18 if you hold out long enough, as the sale the other day proves.
As there is no purple banner for me - not buying enough Pro packs - and even WITH a purple banner I'd have to spend $ 75.- for this one the temptation to buy it are way down below the ground. Those $ 10.- free from each category would mean, that to get stuff I wishlisted would cost me another § 3.- to $ 7.- for each category, as none of my wishlisted items is $ 10.- or below...
Add to that, the female figures coming with the pack probably don't even call for Celani to be dialed in, so if I wanted them I could just buy them anyway when they are reduced to a more comfortable price.
And I don't really *need* anything from that pro pack... I don't intend to do any Mad Max-ish stuff and if I ever would, it would take place in Europe, I would need totally different setups, clothes and stuff...
So this is an easy "no buy" for me :)
Just got it with 4 add-ons and got the snow prop for free. Skipped the HD morphs for the Stealth Car and add-on.
I really like the clothes not having high heels.
Yeah, I just hope if sales are down on Celani and Daz are looking for answers as to why they'll take a peek here in the forums rather than think PA content was off or users don't want another core figure who is a woman of colour. This is a gorgeous character with a great theme and great content... it's just the marketing is arguably a misfire... realising a Pro Bundle that's $20 more expensive than "usual" right after the slammer that was Aliens vs Troopers... a lot of us just can't dig that deep in this economic climate, no matter how much we might want to.
Whether it be through an extra purple banner or a future sale, I'm looking forward to getting Celani when I can
