Great character, but sadly there is nothing from the categories that I would want...it's been picked clean already.
Eh, I feel it is a good deal and I like the character and offerings (especially the car!) - I just don't have the funds! LOL!
I do wish they would add more to the categories - with so many previous sales and a number of pro bundles, I already have most of the things I need out of those - which makes it less of a 'convincing point'.

With yesterdays coupon and me getting Aubrey 8 Pro Bundle, I think I do own each and every Gen 8 Core Figure Pro Bundle plus most of the themed bundles. But everyones budget is somehow limited so I already skipped the recent Wrestling bundle although the offer was good.
The Celani 8 Pro Bundle is one of the best Gen 8 Bundles recently released. Like the figure, outfits and hair and the car is also a nice add-on. But the promo is unfortunately not par. The pro bundle price stays above $50 and the 4 addon lift the price to over $70. The category variety is nice but due to recent sales I do not find that much I feel I really need. Also the PA catalog discount does not stretch to those categories. So for $15 one does not get many "full" products unless paying a little extra and increasing the cart total further.
So question is do I really want to pay $50 for a cool bundle I will get for <$20 probably at the end of the year. Do I really want to spend $20 for textures/figures to get the best price and have the option to expand my library even more with products I might hardly use. Tend to say "No".
To make me say "Yes" a bigger discount on the bundle and extras would help and maybe the option to freely distribute the DAZ originals free amount on all available categories allowing me to pick stuff from a category which is really interesting to me and leaving other categories out.
But there is also one more point which makes me more and more hesitant on buying characters: If I would install all Pro Bundle Characters plus all the characters and morphs I purchased seperately, my load time for a G8 figure would probably again rise towards 10 minutes and applying poses or reseting a pose would again become laggy and unresponsive. For that reason I had to do a fresh setup of my runtime in which I currently have only installed 5-10% of my library. Lot's of "addon" figures, dedicated morphs and clothing-related morphs I might install to a different runtime to be able to "switch it off" if not needed. And each new figure makes things worse or calls for a "one in, one out"-treatment not to impact performance. So a studio update with intelligent morph loading is cucial to allowing me to expand my library even further.
oh well...but why the fairy in the bundle? that doesn;t fit at all, nor do the cutesy addon characters. this bundle demands GRIT !!
and the "free" items...for me, most in all categories are over $15, so nothing to see here. The ones under, yeah 11 or 13, i dont need or want, so that whole free stuff pretty much a wash. I end up with $86 whcih I wish I would have purchased the aliens and whatever bundle at 97 with 7 free starter bundles. A FAR better bundle overall even though 97 wasn't happening for me at the time.
I will say overall i like the new bundle ... the hair especially. why that fairy in there?
ditto waht everyone else has already said. Love Celani and the content, but it's not a good enough deal for me not to just wishlist and wait.
Not thrilled with the deal either. I seem to recall prior similar purple banners offering more in the free offer, in some cases doubling it, and a discount on the pro bundle as well. This just seems a bit light
Same as everyone. This is a too expensive release offer.
Sahira and Valentino, both released outside any major sale month had a lot better promotion:
* $66 (or maybe less) Combined price of Pro Bundle + Cheap Addons
* $60 credit for daz originals (no small amounts inside multiple categories, so i consider that better than today's $70)
* %80 Discount on most G8 Pro bundles (not 1 or 2, 80% in all you want) (Sahira also offered %50 on the rest)
And all that was without counting the purple banner that offered i think additional 20% extra on Bundle (+Addons too?). This one only add a tiny amount on the already bad deal of the multiple categories fiasco. If i'm not mistaken i think i read Dasan offer was a double the amount (from 75 to 150) and less categories (3?). Today banner is a joke.

Now on this bundle in general, looks good. I like that the extra item is a car. I love Daz decided to invest in Prae for hair because i love the style, BUT: why a hair that adds little to nothing to what is already available in store? Ask Prae for a LONG hair, we already have all the short ones.
So we finally got one month of better genre variation but with very expensive release offers, and you tease with an Artist that do not have most of its catalogue here is like asking people to put their money in another site and buy here only on huge sale months (and cross finger is not again locked to fantasy).

Same here, great character, interesting bundle but I need to wait for the next money train to come in before I buy.
Too expensive for me (DAZ has spoiled us LOL). I think the newer Gen 8 releases should be priced cheaper since they will "soon" be an older generation.
I love the Celani core character and the Yara hair. Kudos to the artists. Will be getting those in any case.
But I'm having issues with the bundle. I prefer my futurism to be optimistic (space ships and laser guns), not pessimistic (dystopia). And as others have noted, the deal does not push down the price of the pro bundle as much as previous deals. On the other hand, with the categories deal, I am able to select a variety of goodies that I would like.
But the real issue? The timing of the Celani 8 bundle release overlaps Joe Quick and that Teddy Bear for G8M.
I put together a sample cart with both the Celani 8 Pro Bundle and category extras, with the This Teddy Bear can Get Dark deal and its PA discounts. Ouch!!!!!!! My cart total was $144.
If I get just Celani 8, Yara hair, and Teddy Bear for G8M, my cart is just over $50.
Have to make a decision about blowing my budget for August and September before July ends.
The bundle looks cool and I like that the outfits all have flat soled boots, not sure about the open toes but at least there's no running around the wasteland in stiletto heels. The character looks good and I'd love to get the bundle but it looks like one I'll wait to get on a better deal.
It's a pretty lousy deal, but...I'll still probably get her. I like the character, especially her non-idealized body. I like a lot of the bundle content, and love the Wilona hair.
The total discount on the Celani Pro Bundle with 4+ add-ons isn't that great, we've definitely seen better release promotions.
$15 discount on 7 categories does give a nice maximum discount of $105, and I did manage to find some stuff in all the categories that I like. But, what I'm contemplating now, is whether I like them enough to them spend $78 on a reasonably interesting pro-bundle.
If several of the categories were combined, like "Animals, Creatures, Places & Things", "Animations, Poses, Resources & Addons", "Figures & Hair" and finally "Clothing & Accessoiries", with upto $20 discount on each, then the total discount would be less, but the discounts themselves would be more useful, for example.
In the past, we've also had "pick HD-Addon" offers. Those were pretty good as well. Maybe not for use with every new release, but once or twice a year would be very welcome.
Well, I suppose there's always the possibility that Daz notices the tepid reception to the banner and bumps it up a bit later in the day.
If I get anything, I'd get Celani 8 (just the figure), maybe with my $6 coupon when August rolls in.
I generally don't use dForce very much these days, and try to avoid things that need a lot of simulation, so the outfit really has to fit what I want if it's a mainly dForce thing.
A bunch of sheets on top of sheets? It's not that I don't like the look, but it's not something that I'd use.
Just installed the ProBundle, but Celani 8 is missing. Looks like they included the starter bundle in the probundle but not Celani 8 base. Opened a ticket for it.
Ouch but LOL. Of ALL the things to leave out of the bundle- the character herself???!!!!!
Which, theoretically, shouldn’t be a problem, since the starter bundle is also supposed to include the base character.
Hmm, looks like waiting is the way to go, since there's clearly something needing fixing if the character is being left out.
Can someone who is a Platinum Club member please tell what price they are seeing for the Celani Starter and Pro Bundles? And also for the Celani figure alone? I am a Platinum Club member but I think that lately there is someting wrong with my account and I am not seeing the Platinum Club discount prices, so I would like to confirm this. Also, can a Platinum Club member verify if there is still a Platinum Club forum in the Daz Forums? That has disappeared for me.
