7:08AM in snowy Tulsa, OK. and a lovely 21F outside, soon to hit.. 28F. :blank: Snow expected all day, then tomorrow morning freezing rain! :ahhh: turning into REAL rain late in the day, then freezing overnight and ice again Sunday morning :ahhh: rising to 42F and getting.. more rain. :gulp:

I managed to get my food delivered half an hour before they stopped delivery due to the ice and snow. :bug: Tipped the delivery guy good, because it was an unholy mess on the streets.

    Food stock consists of:

    - 3 HUGE beef quesadilla slices
    - 5 HUGE slices of salami/green olive pizza
    - 16 spicy bbq chicken wings
    - 16 Buffalo medium wings
    - 4 cans of soup
    - 2 cans of tamales (one beef, one chicken)
    - 2 cans of high quality corned beef hash
    - Bottle of Tito's vodka (a HUGE one)
    - Pint of Apple Crown Royal
    - 1/2 a bottle of whipped cream flavored vodka
    - 3 2L bottles f diet soda
    - 2 packs of butter lovers microwave popcorn

..that should last until the ice goes away. :smirk:Nothing to do for the next 2 days but render, compose, eat, drink, and hide from the FROZEN WATER FROM THE SKY! :ahhh:

I wish I had my raptor mug. :) I wonder if Rezca gets a comission, I think she sold a pile of mugs with that link (hee hee)!

you're welcome. I have made mistakes with those sort of links so many times I can sort of troubleshoot them immediately when someone else makes a booboo, but still make mistakes in my own.

...Great Aeroplane for fishing trips in Montana and western Canada.

The Registration for Indonesia is "PK-" followed by three letters (eg. PK-TVY).

Unable to find any images but seven DHC-3s were in the Indonesian Air Force Inventory (retired no registration numbers listed) and three were in service with the government's Pelita Air Service two of which were written off (most likely scrapped) and one in storage.

    The registrations for those are

    PK-PHA
    PK-PHB
PJ-PHC (this is the one in storage)

She's actually been super busy lately. A few years back she was doing unique colorations of the Caffine Raptor image for folks with raptor characters, and when I was talking with her via email last night she asked if she had ever done one for me or not. Because of how busy she's been she offered to send me the lineart so I could color it, being unable to herself due to the aforementioned busies :)

Yes that's the one but I got an impossible brief on the livery, just don't know where to look for 1960s freight operaators outside of aviation mags in the city library here or in Jakarta itself. Also no idea what the CASR for those was. Everything seems to be owned by FedEX now.

I seem to recall from chemistry class that lye is a caustic. Lye as in lye soap. Maybe a caustic is a non-porn render. I don't know...

GC? Gift card? Scatters? No entiendo. It took 2 weeks for me to figure out that algorithms are NOT logarithms. By that time the coding class was so far ahead of me I quit.

Gamma Correction is a render option which averages out the brightness in an image displayed on televisions and monitors (and printed stuff) to values corresponding to the range of perception of a human eye, a value of 2.2 gives you a good approximation of that range :)

    So just got a this...
    http://www.daz3d.com/the-constrictor

Nice fun-looking snake, was on sale at time and I like snakes, so why not.

Turns out it's very likely to be almost entirely useless for me. For one, I highly doubt that my InterPoserPro plugin for C4D can read the DSF files that make up the entirety of the product, and is also unlikely it'd even work with the new file structure (All the 'models' being put in the new Data folder) or that the model would work right if I rearranged them. Second, because there's no OBJ file(s) anymore - only these DSF files - it means I can't even import the static, unrigged file to re-rig on my own either. The only file I can make use of at all are the JPEG textures, for what good that does me.

Too tired to go looking into this right now, bleh. Need sleeps.
