I hate it when I go to product view and then there are multiple versions of what I want but cannot tel which one is which. For example the Urban Survivors for G2M and G2F, it is hard to tell which one is for G2M or G2F in product view.
....it works in Russia...

It would be Advanced. And I don't think they make it anymore. Since 4.7 Pro is free anyway, why would anyone want a lesser version?

...some plugins were never updated for 4.0+, that's why I still have it installed as well.

...was out with some friends yesterday evening and tipped several half Litres of it at the German Pub in my neighboruhood.
Indeed, very tasty.
DS has crashed or seemed to crash while I am working on a render for the animated action contest.
You're having a lovely time. Wish we were there. :)
+1
It's snowing here...again.

Which plugins do you have that weren't? I thought most were. With the exception of those whose creators just gave up.

Gamma Correction is a render option which averages out the brightness in an image displayed on televisions and monitors (and printed stuff) to values corresponding to the range of perception of a human eye, a value of 2.2 gives you a good approximation of that range :)
Not exactly. Gamma correction maps the original values to new values by a power law - white and black remain pinned, with a curve mapping the other values (so generally the darks are stretched out to cover more of the tonal range the lights compressed or vice versa, depending on the sign of the gamma value). You can see the rough effect by using the Curves adjustment in an image editor with the end points left alone and a single control point (or you maya ctually have a gamma setting you can enter and see the effect).
Well I guess that too, but no matter how much you adjust the brightnesss range of an image it will still be corrected to fit a gamma curve of around 2.2 by monitor or TV hardware, around 1.8 by printer hardware and around 1.7 by film printed from a negative. Best to hit the GC button at render time and not sweat it too much

...LDP, LDP2, and Azure Skiesfor LDP2 for three which were my "go to" light and environment plugins. UE was usually a quick trip to a crash on my old system and still "eats" a lot of system resources (and runs hotter) on the new one.
Azure skies had some of the nicest skydomes I've seen, but because they require LDP2 I can only use them in Daz3.1 Advanced. there are times I need an almost cloudless sky and none of the other ones (like Cloud9 or Skies of Economy) offer a relatively clear blue sky. Even the Flink's ones (save for the star domes) over on Rendo have too much cloud cover.
I think that having thee hd G2M's in a scene will make the ram usage higher.
my 9999px ds render took 20 hrs and 37 minutes
I am trying to watch a video on Vimeo but it would not stream for me. Finally I found a way to download it so maybe I can watch it.
I had an 800x600 render take that long in Indigo
Tho to be fair, it would last for all of eternity if I never told it to stop, but I cut it short at 30'sh hours since the caustics were clear enough for me ^^
Hopefully you can watch the video in your media player.

It is taking forever to download, but hopefully can watch it tomorrow

i guess it's not so bad if you have a tablet, while the main rig is busy.
omg, the ros'ty forum s/w is totally hosed. rmp ridiculous, viewing a product page makes my netbook pageswap memory, jumps from 700mb to over 2 gb, i don't understand why it's doing that
anyway, almost too tired to render anything tnite
I need to go to bed soon. Wait it is after ten pm. I really need to get to bed.
...hoping this forecast holds true.
I was curious about what refresh the computer on Windows 10 so I did it. Probably googling it would have been a better idea but it is too late to change my mind as it is almost finished.
...wishing it were true for us on this side of the country.

...just checked your region and ugh.
A couple three years ago the "Pacific Northwet" (typo intentional) lived up to it's name as we were being flooded out here.
Again we will end up paying for this with more pesky bugs than usual as well as water restrictions this summer.
On the subject of pretty bugs, was sad last year that I never saw one Monarch flutterby. Most of the ones I did notice were the small white variety and a few of the tiger stripe Swallowtails. Climate is definitely getting messed up as flutterbys are very sensitive to climatic changes.
Herbicide use also doesn't help matters. One of the types used in many cities (including here) has been linked to the reduction in bee and flutterby populations. If we lose the pollinators we will be in sorry shape.
we got good water stored for once, and autumn rain still to come hopefully :)
...we depend on snowpack in the Cascades for our water supply in Summer and it has been a rather dry warm winter.
I wanted to try a certain modeling program, but forgot its name. Also searching for modeling programs that have trials gets results for a different meaning of modeling.
...are you thinking of Modo or Silo perhaps?
BTW it's 03:00 where you are, thought you said you were heading to bed.

Mojoworld render times are insane, there is a (big) cloudscape on our wall that took nearly a month to render on 8 cores
eta ah correction: mojo only uses one core per frame so it would have been one for a 4k x 4k image :)
I did but woke up and then went back to bed.
