I'm loving Zeus and his friends!

I was about to say “Beautiful render! So cute!” Until I realized what he did to the mouse. Bad kitty! Poor mouse...

Where did all the mouselovers come from in a cat thread? laugh

    A cat's gotta do what a cat's gotta do..

Mayhem, slaughter, cruelty & a little life ending in a squeak-crunch. All normal and necessary for a cat to be a cat.

Our Maine Coon wants to show his kills off. He knows we don't want them in the house, so he wraps them in an Ivy Leaf to hide them, then rushes in and meows at us through his wrapped mouthful until we tell him how good he is and buy the mouse off him with some proper cooked cat food.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Problem for me is... that mouse looks so cute and peaceful!  lol.  We get those field mice in our house all the time.  Our cat, Mo, will chase it til we catch it and throw it back outside in our woods.  We have YET... to find one squished or eatten.  (fingers crossed)

He's a character. Only cat we've seen who can open a window fanlight in a way it latches locked after him - explained why it looked like he had a house key given the way he escaped from a locked house. Regards, Richard.

Just died laughing, that's so smart-stupid-hilarious! - Just an hour ago, ours moaned and groaned outside at the back door until I opened the window so he could show me what a TERRIBLE, ICKY mouse he had to eat because I wouldn't give him nicer cat food. Yes, totally sorry, you poor starved fat thing ...

Heh, I didn't notice ours had company this moring until she strutted in, head held high. Then she dropped the mouse before I could throw them both out and it made a dash for the shadows under a chair - nearly made it too, but she caught it, carried it into the middle of the room, squeak-crunch as noted, and ate most of it. She has lost them indoors before now, so that was mostly a relief.

The mouse does seem to get the good publicity.

That mouse is just the way I like them....lol. Otherwise I'm on furniture, screeching. laugh

Mine used to leave them in the middle of the living room floor for me or beside the bed. "See mom, I'm doing my job...left ya a present." LOL

<--is wondering if the person who started this thread... doubledeviant ... ever got Zeus???  I don't see a response and there sure are a lot of renders for them to get and idea of how he looks.  hummmmmm  ... Inquiring minds want to know... Did they???  or ... Didn't they???  lol

Lol. This is a very late answer, because I'm not on the forums much, but yes, I bought Zeus and Sphynx some months back and Siberian in a more recent sale. Hadn't caught up with this thread in a while. Memorial Day sales have me passing time here tonight while contemplating a few last-minute purchases. ;)

OMG Richard... I would have freaked out if I saw my cat eating a mouse... it's bad enough fostering a mama cat that eats the placenta of her kittens... yick!!!  Sooo glad us hoomans are much more civalized.  I like my food 'well done' please!  Thank you!

My cat’s paws have never stepped foot out of the house, purely an indoor cat, and he wouldn’t know what to do with a mouse if he ever found one lol. He’d probably either play with it or run from it!

that doesn't mean a thing, my current indoor ones eat anything that crosses their path be it spiders. moths, flies which they are very adept at catching and I am certain if a mouse found it's way through the wall it would meet it's end too, they hear them long before I do when in the cavity

We had a rather gormless cat a long time ago - he once caught a mouse and brought it over to us, as soon as he put it down it ran under his stomach and he was left looking arounf trying to work out where it had gone. All the other cats have been fairly predatory, though, and there are certanly lots of mice and shrews for them to play with (one of them had two weasels one year, and stank for a week afterwards).

That mouse under Zeus's paw isn't dead, it's only sleeping. Yeah...just sleeping. crying

So many cute cats posted- thank you all for sharing. Is there any way to chonkify Zeus? He's adorable as is but need a much chonkier version for something I'm working on. Is there any way to do this or am I out of luck?

...so wondering if there will be a Manx morph.

They're sort of "chonky" in build.
