I LOVE Pallas cats! I think they're adorable. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube with those in them. They're so cute. One unique thing about them is that the pupils of their eyes are round rather than elongated like regular house cats. I would love to see a version of those for Cat Zeus!

It might be fun to have a contest to generate cat memes.

What phrase should I add to make a good cat meme with an abacus?

Well, I'm a little late to the party, but finally made some reference images rendered NPR style (one without any fur and one with very short fur):

I really like the render of the Siamese with a little longer fur @Vyusur posted earlier in the thread, and the extra floofy ones by @AllenArt - will definitely have to play more with that later.

The included poses are excellent and it was fun trying to get his tongue to curl/twist. The rigging and all pose dials included for his ears, eyes and tongue make this guy very expressive.

I love how strong the HD morphs make him look, too. I wasn't planning on making a mean one, but I just sort of ran with it while exploring what could be done.

Fantastic job on this guy, Vyusur - cheers!

Gorgeous! I like both of them. Sphynx and NPR are made for each other.

It's the latest output from some home-spun algorithms I've been working on nearly 3 decades now. Did you ever get him rendered up?

Well... I played and played with my filters and special effects in PSP7... Gimp... and even tried my Nik filters and I wasn't able to come up with a cartoony Sphynx like yours.  I'd love to know your process... But... I did come up with some unusual pieces that I love with ole Sphynxy ;)

Here's a normal render with normal background... He's (he is a HE... I checked ;0) wonderful!!!!  I was surprised how fast he rendered in Iray... 2minutes!  I postworked the background in PSP7.

    ENJOY!

Here are a few 'cartoony' pieces... I postworked in a plain curtain backdrop.  Sphynx was rendered with Filament... I thought it would be easier to make into cartoon since it's pretty flat rendering.

    Clothify... Newsprint... and Polarized

    ENJOY!!!

Look at those eyes! What's he doing wandering around there all alone?

I've started multiple NPR threads over the years and tried on several occasions to explain my process. This post from one of the threads is as good a summary as any:

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to try to answer in that thread (don't want to clog up this one any more).
