nice and daz has many more customers than I thought.
can't do more or the hamsters would die because of exhaustion
They really should get a multi-wheel system that would allow a hamster or two to drop out once in a while
I have checked back on my list, and one or two I'm pretty certain I did manually didn't seem to have the license attached (V3 textures was one of those). I have tried to do it again, so will see if it sticks this time.
Regards,
Richard.
I don't think so - that would mean that everyone would have V8 and Dog 8 added now, since some said they had these added several days ago. Processing one account at a time is probably a better idea in any case, for different reasons.
I believe this is the case.
It appears that all of my DOs have the 3D License applied. That kind of confirms its an account by account process.
They might be starting the the lowest customer numbers and moving through them that way.
I don't recall what my customer number was / is, but my first order was back in 2003.
According to my order history my first order was on 2001-12-29 which is and is not correct as I made pudchases prior to that while they were still part of Zygote Media Group and those orders are not in my library
I still have to check on the printing licenses and as it is a very large number it will take a lot of time
The licenses are still being added to peoples accounts. It's going to take a while to get done but they are plugging away at it.
most of the old stuff isn't in the catalog any longer,at least what I've checked so far, so no way to get the license, unless DAZ were to just give it to us somehow.
@CHWT said :
"Then I guess old members got the licenses first. "
Nope... Can not be the case, otherwise mine would be done, and someone like @metaside (joined January 2018), @zombiewhacker (joined April 2006), or @JazzyBear (joined Sept 2014) have stated Daz has auto-added theirs (though, it seems only partial for JazzyBear).

* Do you really believe we all joined together in one month in October of 2003?
* Those who were not here don't know about the great crash that killed all our original join dates, and that Daz resurrected us with that join date (some anomalies like @de3an : Joined Dec 1969 [may or may not be pre Oct 2003] notwithstanding).
Out of that list, how many have had theirs auto-added by Daz before the newer members named above?
For the record, Oct. 2003 was when the first forum was added. Prior to Oct. 2003 the DAZ site didn't have a message board. My official start date was January of 2003.
Prior to Jan. 2003 I had been purchasing items through Zygote.
If memory serves, Victoria 3 was released in December 2002, which was the unofficial start of DAZ's online business.
Same here. Poser 3 was the software when I made my first purchase from Zygote it was a texture set for Posette
Hmm.
The earliest download I have a record of on the DAZ site is Victoria[1] Sample maps, on 23 May 2002. There must have been a bit of a data transfer from Zygote to DAZ, even if it isn't currently complete.
Oh, and it's still got the Standard License.
Regards,
Richard
Well, the promotion lasts until the end of Spetember, it's a month and an half from now... there's still plenty of time for them to do everything. Also they said they will extend it in case of issues.
For once let's give DAZ3D some faith and patiently wait for them to do everything.![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
None of my purchases before 2001-12-29 are in my Library this would include the original Victoria version 1 and 2 and Michael version 1 , Stephanie, as well as some textures for the Poser figures
This is interesting. My first order was January 2002, which was Michael 2, and he doesn't have a 3d printing license added. I guess because he doesn't even have a store page anymore, poor thing. When I checked Michael 4, he had his license added alright, also all the other DOs I checked randomly. So I do think the theory is good that they're adding licenses by customer join date.
Richard, Do you know if they are adding the licenses for products that no longer have product pages?
I am not sure, but I would expect so - as far as I know it is working from the database that records ownership, which would include items thata re no longer visible in store. If you seem to have licenses for live items and not for items that are now vaulted then I will ask if there is an issue here.
I only have standard liecnses for stuff like Victoria 1 Reduced Resolution, Gorilla LE and Sea Dragon LE, that are marked as inactive. That's just what I checked on my first page. Everything I've checked that is still active, even old stuff like the full version of Sea Dragon, has the printing license.
I seem to only have the standard license for vaulted DO's. I have the license for other DO's but that is because I added them using FamilyU's script. So I don't know if DAZ has gotten to my account or not.
my 1st purchase listed is from 9 DEC 2001. None of the products without a product page, or inactive, have the 3d License added.
It would be great if they added 3dprinting licenses for the old/inactive stuff. Something like "Temple Ruins" (sku::1812) would probably slice up fairly well for 3d printing. However, I thought someone said DAZ had made the decision not to include inactive items. I'd love to be wrong though.
Without a product page, I really have no idea how to tell what is, and what isn't, a Daz Original, but I'm seeing at least some of the older purchases, ones without a current product page, coming up with a 3D printing license.
Thank you Daz.
Honestly, it seems to me that the having to search things out by purchase date is the major issue here, and it would actually be more cost effective for DAZ to just push back that july 12 cutoff and give everyone a 3D license for everything in their library rather than paying for all the manhours to try and pick out specific instances and THEN have to deal with all the errata for months afterwords.
