trying hard to pass up a brontosaur.

Never know when a dinosaur finds its way to London thanks to a time traveling ship getting into the Sinclair's mouth. He he he.

    ... :)

darn auto correct, I meant Dinosaur's mouth. Not sure what a Sinclair is at the moment.

oh, i though it was a movie reference.

there was a Sinclair on Babylon 5. can't remember if he was captain or commander

    Commander.

Season 3 just started up. I watched the first episode the other night. It's on Thursdays. But I watch it OnDemand, and it wasn't available on Friday. I think it finally showed up on Saturday.

*Edit* Though, this second colorless one would probably better display the dangers of time machines

Also wanted to add, I'd probably play with Unity and stuff a bit as well - if I had any sort of discipline to apply to learning the darned thing
As well as coding, animating, rigging, etc etc...
..I love the first one, First Big Ben then the House of Lords (the House of Commons is too tough and stringy).

...just checked your region and ugh.

A couple three years ago the "Pacific Northwet" (typo intentional) lived up to it's name as we were being flooded out here.

Again we will end up paying for this with more pesky bugs than usual as well as water restrictions this summer.

On the subject of pretty bugs, was sad last year that I never saw one Monarch flutterby. Most of the ones I did notice were the small white variety and a few of the tiger stripe Swallowtails. Climate is definitely getting messed up as flutterbys are very sensitive to climatic changes.

Herbicide use also doesn't help matters. One of the types used in many cities (including here) has been linked to the reduction in bee and flutterby populations. If we lose the pollinators we will be in sorry shape.

I had a monarch in my yard last week while it was still warm. Way too early for them to be coming through. Their population is really down.
...flutterby populations both here and in Europe are way down. In the UK many species are are protected.

The Queen (Leela) is very displeased.

    ...ugh transit complaint.

Finished my Market run in the Hawthorne district. I walk down (about 17 - 18 min) but take the bus home because lugging two sacks of groceries and having to walk up a very steep hill close to my home is pretty tough. OK, so I get to the intersection and see a bus at the stop however I have two traffic lights to get through. I make it to one corner and wave at the driver who looks right at me. He has is 4-ways on so it looked like he was going to wait. However, once the second light changed and I was almost across, (had to deal with a car making left turn that ran the red turn signal) the driver turned of the 4-ways and pulled out as I was getting to the bus stop. 20 min wait for the next bus..

When I got off and walked to the stop for my connecting bus saw I had another 20 min wait. Had that driver waited a few moments to let me on I would have made the earlier connection and been home in about 18 min. Instead the trip home took a total of 45 min, more than twice the time it took me to walk down. To make matters even more annoying, a bunch of 20 something hipsters who got up to get off ahead of me at the rear exit (the only seat left open was in the back) and saw me struggling with my grocery bags exited and instead of holding the door open for me, let it almost slam in my face..

These "hip" kids today (at least here) got zero respect.

Morning. Dawn lapping on on city streets and towers and treetops in green and gold breakers and a chorus of birdsong :)

Good morning! Sounds quite pleasant. :)

Add some zombies and traffic and you'd have a great game! Oooh, especially if we put the player in a car, get stuck in traffic and the zombies break into your car and kill you! :ahhh: GAME OVER

Was a bit of a zombie myself this morning, sleep deprived I think

How come my Bettas can be in water all the time and yet still be scaly? How do they stay underwater so long when I cannot do the same thing in the pool. I am thinking of going swimming tomorrow in an indoor pool. I have difficulty breathing while swimming but my little bettas do not seem to have any problems with that.

    Sure Happy It's Tuesday. :smirk:

Rain, rain, rain. Warm though, 45F now and headed towards 58F. Thinking about going out for a slice of breakfast pizza. :)

UE4 took an eternity to download, but everything installed clean and there are a bazillion sample projects. Lots of documentation as well, this looks to be a winner. Haven't fired up Unity yet, that's tonight's fun.

March Madness.. meh for me so far. Getting more out of Fastgrab.. lol..!

Definitely brekkie time.. Going out for a fancy coffee and a slice of breakfast pizza! :cheese:

Breakfast pizza! Scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage on a pizza crust with GRAVY instead of pasta sauce! It sounds nasty but it's actually really good. That and a latte' and I'm good shape.

Grabbed Kronos out of Fastgrab, I need a mysterious hunky dude so I can make "equal-time" ppinups (heh). Also gound a nice pair of wings for Giselle, now all I have to do is put her in one of Aery Soul's outfits and it's PINUP TIME! :cheese:

Going to be a LONG day today.. still no hardware to work with.. ugh. :shut: Will go price laptops for game development..
